(Nissan) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Nissan Altima, Armada, Frontier, Kicks, Leaf, Maxima, Murano, NV, NV200, Pathfinder, Rogue, Rogue Sport, Sentra, Titan, Titan Diesel, Versa Note and Versa Sedan vehicles, as well as Infiniti Q50, Q60, QX30 and QX80 vehicles. The contact owns a 2019 Nissan Murano. The contact stated that after refueling the vehicle, the fuel system became inoperable. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the fuel gauge reading failed to function properly after fueling. The fuel gauge previously displayed an estimated range of 400 miles before refueling; however, the range indicated approximately 300 miles after refueling. The contact stated that the fuel range calculation was inaccurate and changed while driving. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The mechanic referred the contact back to the dealer for assistance. The vehicle was taken to several dealers, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 37,000.
