THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

THIS HVAC SYSTEM HAS BEEN KNOWN TO CATCH FIRE IN THE PASSENGER AREA AND HAS BEEN RECALLED BUT THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT MY VEHICLE VIN DOES NOT MATCH THE ONES THAT HAVE BEEN RECALLED.
