On 08/01/ 19 took my Jeep in to have brakes fixed at big o tires they changed front and back pads and rotors. After that they found the Master Cylinder to be defective and replaced that also. I have the bill to show this work. In 2022 my Check Brake light would stay on all the time, my brakes were good to me. Big O’s had burned down the year before, I live within 2 streets of their business, their fire was in my front window! Odometer : Readings on Dates: 1) 102,335 : Original date of Brake work! 2) 107,000 : day when brought in to fix light on, 9/29/22. When driving the truck will randomly shut off or stall no matter the speed or if its parked. replaced the crankshaft and cam shaft position sensor and still has the same issue. These vehicles must have a bad ECM unit on them or something.
DISCOVERED THAT ALL WINDOWS AND SIDE MIRRORS WERE NO LONGER OPERARABLE FROM WITHIN VECHICLE PANEL ON DRIVER SIDE. UNABLE TO LOCK THE VECHICLE FROM WITHIN, AS WELL. UNABLE TO LOCK THE VECHICLE WITH KEY CONTROL FROM OUTSIDE, ONLY MANUALLY, THOUGH THE KEY CONTROL CAN STILL LOCK ALL OTHER DOORS, INCLUDING THE REAR GATE. FIRESTONE STATED THAT ONLY A JEEP DEALER CAN REPAIR THIS ISSUE.
AM THE OWNER OF A 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE, I AM THE ONLY OWNER, I HAVE TAKEN IT SEVERAL TIMES TO THE DEALER, AND THEY HAVE TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO CHANGE THE COMPLETE REAR LAMPS (THEY HAVE ONLY CHANGED THE BULBS ONCE) IN DEALER THEY TELL ME THAT HAS NOTHING THAT I MUST CHANGE THE (TAILLAMPS ASSY), PLEASE I NEED YOUR HELP, MY CHEROKEE HAS ALWAYS BEEN PARKED IN MY CLOSED GARAGE, IT NEVER STAYS ON THE STREET

I WAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK AT 1145PM WHEN OUT OF NO WEAR THE HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT ? THE TURNING SIGNALS WORKED BUT HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AND WOULDNT COME BACK ON, THIS HAS HAPPENED A FEW OTHER TIMES BUT WHEN I HAD THE AUTOSHOP LOOK AT IT THEY COULDN'T FIND A ISSUE? ANYTIME I HIT A SMALL BUMP IN ROAD OR WHEN TURNING THE FRONT END LOSES CONTROL AND VEHICLE SHAKES VIOLENTLY SENDING ME INTO OTHER LANE. SEVERAL WIRES HAVE MELTED UNDER THE HOOD AND THE FRONT DRIVER SEAT GETS EXTREMELY HOT WHILE DRIVING A DISTANCE OVER 13 MILES
ELECTRICAL ISSUES!!! IVE REPLACED THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR BEACUSE THE ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER PART FAILED DUE TO THE PIGTAIL MELTING INTO THE HARNESS. THE REPLACMENT PARTS DO THE SAME THING AFTER HAVING THE HEAT/AC ON FOR A WHILE YOU CAN SMELL IT BURNING AND MELTING ... IVE WENT THREW 4 NEW REPLACMENT PARTS ALREADY AND THIS SEEMS LIKE A RECALL AS EACH TIME I WAS TKLD IM LUCKY IT DIDNT CAUSE A FIRE AS THE WIRES WERE COMPLETELY MELTED.
I GOT A SHORT CIRCUIT BY THE AIR CONDITIONER. IT CAUGHT FIRE AND BURNED THE WHOLE INSIDE OF MY CAR.

THE EXHAUST SYSTEM HAS VIBRATION AT TIMES WHEN IN MOTION. WHEN TEST DRIVING THIS VEHICLE I JUST ASSUMED THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN SITTING WITH AN OLDER BATTERY WAS WHY IT NEEDED TO BE JUMPED. THEN AFTER I GOT IT HOME AND IT SAT OVERNIGHT AND I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM; I THOUGHT I'D LEFT SOMETHING TURNED ON. THEN I DISCOVERED THAT THE CLOCK WILL NOT GO OFF. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON 5/17/2019 AS IS.

MY WINDOWS FOGGED UP AND COULDN'T SEE , I WAS A SITTING DUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AS I COULDNT SEE. WITHOUT WARNING MY JEEPS ENGINE WILL SHUT OFF. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT IS WHILE STOPPED OR DRIVING IT WILL SHUT OFF AND NOT TURN BACK ON UNTIL ABOUT 10 MINUTES LATER. WHEN IT HAS SHUT OFF IT WILL STILL TURN OVER AND I HAVE POWER TO EVERYTHING I NEED BUT IT WILL NOT FIRE UP. THIS HAPPENED FIRST ON A SUNNY MORNING DRIVING IN TOWN. SEAT HEATER WIRING INSIDE BOTH FRONT SEATS CRACKED AT SEAT HEATER ELEMENTS CAUSING ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE AND MELTING OF SEAT CUSHION MATERIAL SURROUNDING WIRING. THIS DEFECT WAS PREVIOUSLY ADDRESSED VIA SAFETY RECALL 09V11700 IN 2009. CHRYSLER CLAIMED MY VEHICLE HAD RECEIVED THE SAFETY RECALL, AND THE PARTS ARE ONLY WARRANTED FOR 2 YEARS. IF THIS IS TRUE, THE NEW PARTS HAVE THE SAME FIRE HAZARD AS THE OLD PARTS.

THE DRIVER'S SIDE CONTROL FOR THE WINDOWS AND DOORS DOES NOT WORK MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO PUT THE WINDOWS DOWN OR LOCK THE CAR. THIS OCCURS WHEN IN MOTION OR WHILE STATIONARY. IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN.

WIRING BETWEEN THE DRIVER'S DOOR AND THE VEHICLE BREAK, WHICH CAUSES THE ELECTRIC LOCKS AND WINDOWS NOT TO WORK. EITHER MOVING OR STATIONARY. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES SINCE 2008

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AT 800-992-1997 AND WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER ASKED THE CONTACT TO CALL THE NHTSA HOTLINE. A CASE NUMBER WAS NOT PROVIDED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 151,000.
THE BREAK TAIL LAMP SHOTS OUT AND HAD TO REPLACE THE UNIT TWICE THIS YEAR AND THE WAS WIRING SHOTS TO THE BREAK LIGHT AND IT COST ME $1500 FOR THE BREAK LIGHT WIRING SHOT AND THE TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLE. I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR 3 YRS CONSECUTIVE AND I THINK IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE SINCE IT IS THE BREAKS LIGHTING AND THEIR HAS BEEN MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE FOR THIS VEHICLE ON LINE. I THINK THAT CHRYSLER SHOULD RECALL ALL THIS VEHICLES AND REWIRE THEM FOR FREE SINCE IT IS A SAFETY FITCHER. FRONT PASSENGER SIDE DOOR WIRING HARNESS BROKE AT 165,150 MILES. (THIS HAS HAPPENED ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF MY 1999 JEEP ALSO). MANY COMPLAINTS ON THE INTERNET OF THIS VERY PROBLEM!!! HAPPENS TO ALMOST ALL JEEPS AT SOME POINT. TOO SHORT OF WIRING HARNESS AND/OR BRITTLE OF WIRES. THIS REPEATING PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE A RECALL FOR ALL OF THE DOOR WIRING HARNESSES. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, DOORS DO NOT LOCK, WINDOWS CAN NOT BE RAISED OR LOWERED, BACK HATCH OR WINDOW CANNOT BE OPENED. IF THERE IS A PET IN THE FAR BACK AND A PET FENCE IS IN PLACE UP FRONT, YOU CANNOT GET TO THE PET!!! PLEASE MAKE THIS A RECALL TO FIX. THANK YOU. JEEP/CHRYSLER NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

REPLACED TAIL LIGHT HOUSING UNITS ONLY TO HAVE THEM GO BAD AGAIN. WIRE HARNESS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED NUMERAL TIMES, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS HAD TO BE REPLACED NUMERAL TIMES. GAUGES ON DASH BOARD WOULDN'T WORK HALF THE TIME. JUST HAD A MVA WITH A DEER AND EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT OF THE CAR AND NO AIRBAGS WERE DEPLOYED, THE ACCIDENT WAS SO EXTENSIVE THAT THE CAR WAS TOTALED!

3 TIMES NOW I HAVE HAD THE WIRES THAT RUN THROUGH THE RUBBER BOOT IN THE PASSENGER DOOR BREAK CAUSING LOSS OF POWER TO PASSENGER SIDE WINDOWS, DOOR LOCKS, SIDE MIRRORS AND INTERIOR LIGHTS NOT TURNING OFF.

I'VE HAD PROBLEMS ON AND OFF WITH THE POWER WINDOWS, DOOR LOCKS, INTERIOR LIGHTS AND STEREO SYSTEM. THE POWER WINDOWS/DOOR LOCKS DO NOT WORK. UNLESS I TURN THE INTERIOR DIMMER LIGHT SWITCH TO THE OFF POSITION, THE LIGHTS STAY ON. WHEN THIS IS DONE, I CANNOT SEE THE DISPLAYS (I.E., SPEED, ETC.). THE STEREO SYSTEM WILL PLAY AND THE CD PLAYER WORKS; HOWEVER, I CANNOT SEE THE DISPLAY AT ALL --- CHANNELS, TRACK #S, ETC. ALL OF THESE ISSUES, EXCEPT THE STEREO SYSTEM, CREATE DRIVING HAZARDS.
