I received several letters notifying me of an urgent recall for my Honda vehicle. I’ve attempted to get this issue fixed many times. However, the dealership stated that the repair will take a few hours to repair. Since I work Uber and DoorDash, I requested a loaner vehicle to use while my car is being repaired. They stated that they can’t provide that and If I want to I can rent a vehicle at $45 a day. Also, I will have to pay for my Uber ride from the dealership and back. There should be no reason why I should be responsible for lost wages or any expenses relating to a recall that is entirely out of my control.
Driver side air bag hasn't been replaced but is on recall. No risk yet. Having dealer confirm the problem on 2/18/2023. No warning lights
The vsa light is on every time I drive the triangle hazard light and the abs light is on

The contact stated that the front driver's side air bag deployed but was not inflated. The passenger's side air bag did not deploy. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was unable to continue to drive the vehicle. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The contact later sought medical assistance and was informed that he had sustained fractured ribs. The contact was unsure whether a police report was filed. The dealer was notified of the failure but did not provide any assistance. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.
The contact owned a 2008 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while her daughter was driving at 67 mph, a tractor-trailer crashed into the contact's driver side causing the vehicle to flip 5 - 6 times before landing in a ditch. The air bags did not deploy. The contact's daughter was transported to the hospital by ambulance. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a towing yard. The contact's insurance company had not inspected the vehicle to deem it totaled. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. However, the manufacturer requested the contact's insurance company for a technical report of the accident. The failure mileage was approximately 192,000.
My passenger air bag is on. Technician is looking at it but cannot find the problem. It cannot pass vehicle inspection with the light on. Seeking help and or advice on servicing the problem. The Technician thinks it may be the button switch or the computer brain. Are these possibilities? Thank you in advance. Stationed in Europe.

MY VEHICLE WENT IN FOR AIRBAG RECALL REPAIR IN AUGUST AT BAY RIDGE HONDA IN BROOKLYN NEW YORK AND WHEN I GOT IT BACK A AIRBAG LIGHT STARTED SHOWING ON MY DASHBOARD I TRIED CALLING THE DEALERSHIP AND GOT BRUSHED AWAY AND THEY KEPT HANGING UP ON ME SO I HAVE A APPOINTMENT TO GO BACK IN ON DECEMBER 16 BUT THEY KEEP TELLING ME TO PAY 150 DOLLARS TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM MY MECHANIC CHECKED IT FOR ME AND SAID IT WAS FOR THE PASSENGER AIR BAG THAT THEY CHANGED PLUS THE DRIVER SIDE ONE THAT I NEVER HAD ISSUES WITH SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR. NEVER BEEN IN A ACCIDENT EITHER.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER INFORMED HIM THAT THE SRS ON THE VEHICLE HAD A DIFFERENT SERIAL NUMBER COMPARED TO THE ONES IN THE RECALL. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER RECALL AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED OUT OF POCKET. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 138,000.

TAKATA RECALL. HONDA CONTACTED ME AGAIN REGARDING THE TAKATA AIRBAG INFLATOR. I TRADED THIS CAR INTO AN ACURA DEALER APPROXIMATELY 10 YEARS AGO. I HAVE CONTACTED HONDA BY PHONE AND MAIL 5 OR 6 TIMES YET THEY STILL HAVEN'T CORRECTED THIS. SOMEWHERE SOMEONE IS DRIVING A DANGEROUS VEHICLE. I SURE THEY COULD FIND THIS CAR IF THEY FOLLOWED UP CORRECTLY. THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT VERY CONCERNED ABOUT SAFETY.
MY SIDE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED WHEN I HIT A VERY DEEP POT HOLE. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER BUT THEY SAID THEY CANNOT HELP BECAUSE IT'S NOT ON A RECALL BUT THERE APPARENTLY IS A PROBLEM BECAUSE THE AIRBAGS DEPLOYED. THE AIRBAGS ARE NOW HANGING IN MY CAR. I WAS HIT FROM BEHIND WHILE MY VEHICLE WAS STOPPED ON A CITY STREET.THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACCIDENT DID NOT SEE THE STOPPED CARS AND HIT ME DOING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH. I WAS PUSHED INTO THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME AT HIGH IMPACT. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. I HAVE TAKEN MY VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR ALL AIRBAG RECALLS. I WAS NOT INJURED BUT THIS COULD HAVE HAD A MUCH DIFFERENT OUTCOME.
BOTH FRONT DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG CURTAINS THAT CONNECT TO THE ROOF ARE LEAKING WATER INTO THE VEHICLE WHEN IT RAINS. I'M AFORESAID THIS COULD AFFECT MY AIRBAG IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. I NEVER REALIZED THIS IS WHY MY DRIVER SEATS ARE WET WHEN IT RAINS.

I WENT TO A SECOND DEALERSHIP AND THEY REPLACED ONE PART BUT HAD TO "ORDER" ANOTHER. THAT SECOND PART STILL HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED AND IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR NOW. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A SERVICE UPDATE OR APPOINTMENT. IS MY CAR SAFE?
ON OCTOBER 8, 2018 IN PORTLAND OREGON A VEHICLE DROVE THROUGH THE INTERSECTION AND HIS RED LIGHT AND I WAS HIT WHILE MAKING THE LEFT TURN ON THE LEFT FRONT SIDE CLOSER TO THE HOOD OF MY VEHICLES AND MY SIDE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND SUSTAINED A FRACTURED SCAPULA, RIBS, PUNCTURED AND BRUISED LUNG AND OTHER BRUISING INJURIES. IN 2017 WE TOOK THE VEHICLE IN FOR THE SERVICE AND SAFETY RECALLS HAD BEEN 'FIXED'.
I WAS INVOLVED IN A MVA AND AT 55 MPH, MY AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND MY CHEST HIT THE STEERING WHEEL AS WELL HEAD HIT THE WINDSHIELD LEAVING ME WITH A STERNUM FRACTURE. I HIT ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM BEHIND.
