TL* THE CONTACT'S DAUGHTER OWNS A 2008 HONDA ACCORD. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE CONTACT REAR ENDED A TRUCK. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN IMPOUND LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT INFORMED OF FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 168,501.
