After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the float gauge, requiring a replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. I BOUGHT THE CARE IN APRIL 2017,WITHIN A MOTH I STARTED SMELL CAR OUTSIDE THE CAR WHEN EVER I STARTED IT. YOU CAR SMELL IT UP TO 75 FT AWAY. TOWARDS THE FRONT AND DRIVERS SIDE. IT S BURNT GAS. JUST LIKE YOU WERE FILLING YOU GAS TANK. I TOOK IT TO MY DEALER FOR A CHECK UP 5/6 TIMES FOR THIS ISSUE. EACH TIME THEY SAY NOTHING WRONG AND THEY CAN'T SMELL THE GAS. YET MY SALESMAN AND OTHER CUSTOMERS IN THE PARKING LOT HAS SMELLED IT. STRANGERS IN THE GROCERY STORE AND SMELT IT AND WARNED ME. INCLUDING A FORD MECHANIC WHO ADVISED ME TO TAKE IT TO A SHOP.HE WAS FROM A DIFFERENT FORD DEALER.MY CO-WORKERS SMELL IT. MY GAS LEVELS ARE SHOWING IT AS WELL. AT THE TIME THIS STARTED I WAS STILL UNDER MANUFACTURER WARRANTY AT 57,000. NOW @ 64,000. HAVE EXTENDED. FOUND OUT SAME...
