2021 FORD F-150 Visibilitywindshield Problems

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that since purchasing the vehicle, there was an abnormal film-like substance visible inside the windshield. The substance obstructed the vision while driving and worsened while driving at night. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the vehicle was purchased and detailed the windshield in an effort to remove the film-like substance. Despite the independent mechanics best efforts, the film-like substance remained. The contact called a dealer and was informed that the diagnostic fee to inspect her vehicle would be $300 an hour, and the contact declined the service. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact back to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000.

2021 FORD F150 PICKUP- Consumer states "I Purchased a new 2021 Ford F150 pickup from Capitol Ford in Carson City Nevada. I have 5-6 outstanding safety recalls. I having been trying to get the dealership to give me an appointment date for these for over a year and a half. I have also contacted Ford Motor Company who contacted the dealer last tall to try to get me an appointment. At the time the dealer told them I was scheduled to be called March of 2023 to schedule an appointment. Its now almost June and I still have not received an appointment. The next closest Ford dealer to me is over sixty miles away so it is not easy for me to go there nor do they give me a loaner or transportation to and from that dealership. 2021 FORD F-150. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO NHTSA SAFETY RECALL 22V-842. THE DEALER STATED IF THE CONSUMER WAS NOT HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR, THE RECALL WILL NOT BE REPAIRED.
