Issue Date 2025-06-13 Campaign 25S65/25V404 Description On your vehicle, in the event of unexpected 12V battery discharge, the front door electronic latches retain their last lockunlock status. If the driver or front passenger exit the front doors using the mechanical inside release handles, the doors may remain locked when they are closed. This may result in an unexpected lock-out condition for the driver and front passenger without the ability to immediately re-enter the vehicle.

A few months ago, my 2021 F150 started sending me repeating dashboard messages that there's a front camera fault and service is requested followed up with a message about how the pre-collision assist is not available. It's bad enough that this is a problem on a late model vehicle, but my real gripe is that the message repeats over and over non-stop, with a repeating chime to go along with it. It is a terrible distraction for a feature that I've never needed in a vehicle. I asked the Ford dealership about this issue, they said that it would be several thousand dollars to replace and calibrate. So now I'm stuck with a truck that chimes and flashes messages, over and over, every time I drive it. I can provide video evidence of the issue.

Numerous times my vehicle has suddenly came to a stop pit itself in park and turned off the engine while I was driving at a speed of 25 mph. Several times while cruise control was active my vehicle increased in speed and pressing the break didn't deactivate my cruise control I had to manually turn it off. My crash detection has gone off several times when there was nothing around my vehicle.

While stopped at a traffic light or in an intersection preparing to make a turn, the vehicle’s engine will randomly shut off. Simultaneously, a pre-collision warning appears on the display. This causes the vehicle to become temporarily disabled, even as oncoming traffic approaches. To recover, the driver must shift the vehicle into park, restart the engine, and quickly accelerate out of the way to avoid a potential collision.

Well I will be driving and randomly it will pop up saying issues with pre collision fault and fault with power steering and suddenly loose power steering while driving

Since 09/23/2024 my 2021 ford f150 the ABS ,service advance trac and pre-collition assist not available messages are displayed every time i press the brakes, the truck is only 3 years and has 21077 miles

I was slowing to a stop at a stoplight in traffic when the brake pedal dropped to the floor and the truck was no longer slowing. The ABS, Anti collision, and check brake system lights all illuminated. I was able to slow the truck and place in park to stop. Vehicle was taken to dealership where it was found to be in perfect condition according to the mechanic. I have been told that I should have no issue taking the vehicle although nothing has been resolved.

Unknown which component is failing. It started with a rumble while accelerating or coasting but goes away when I shift into neutral so I believe that is the transmission. Other issues that are occurring randomly, speedometer will change indication to slower speed than I am actually going or it will drop to 0 while I am driving. Alerts and faults that have shown at the same time the speedometer goes out are: Powertrain fault, ABS, Forward Collision Warning, Parking Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Keeping Assistance, Cross Traffic Warning. Also a random metallic spinning noise coming from under the truck. It has been in the dealer garage 5 times now.

Normal brakes fail. Only the emergency brake functions and locks up one of the rear tires.

Collision avoidance , headlight bright/dim , lane departure system not working. I’m for service five times over five weeks with no resolutions there may be others I don’t know about until I need them the dealer is Fred Grande of Richmond michigan

I was driving with my wife and our one month old baby on I-25 in Albuquerque on a hot day (truck screen indicated 106 F) when suddenly the AdvanceTrac traction control, forward pre-collision braking, adaptive cruise control, and ABS system warnings all came on the dashboard. At the same time the brake pedal went limp (no braking action for the first ~50% of the pedal press). I slowed the truck by coasting for over a mile and picked an off-ramp that I expected to be empty before getting off the highway. Upon exiting the highway, I pressed the brake pedal all the way down and at 90-95% of the pedal compression the brakes finally engaged but locked up the rear wheels leading us to skip and skid across two lanes. We were able to come to a stop in the middle of the ramp and then gently moved over to...

1) Pre-collision assist not available---- when starting after vehicle has been sitting off for one hour. Service AvanceTrac----when starting after vehicle has been sitting off for one hour. Hill start assist not available-----when starting after vehicle has been sitting off for one hour. Check brake system-------when starting after vehicle has been sitting off for one hour. All these warnings appear when starting the engine after vehicle has been sitting off for one hour. Yes, it is available. 2) I don't know if I restart the vehicle and warnings do not reappear if the components at fault still work. 3) Don't think it was reproduced. Showed dealer photos of warnings displayed on my dash. Dealer said no fix currently available. 4) No 5) All these warnings appear on the dash when starting the engine after vehicle has been sitting off for one hour. First appeared after starting on multiple occasions.

Driving down a steep mountain road when a passing vehicle tripped the pre collision alarm while vehicle was being braked. The ABS, Traction Control, Brake, and just about all other visual alarms went off and the vehicle lost the brakes. the emergency brake would come on and lock up the rear tires then release rendering the vehicle unable to stop going down the steep road. Vehicle came close to crashing into other vehicles multiple times while trying to come to a stop. Vehicle was brought to a Ford dealership where the issue was verified. Dealer noted no recalls or TSB's on this vehicle. Dealer cleared the faults and test drove the vehicle and said the issue is now gone. Vehicle was in the process of being driven home when another vehicle in front slowed and tripped the pre collision sensor again and again all alarms came on and the brakes...
