2021 FORD F-150 Engine Problems

Started with check engine light for cylinder 5 misfire and engine was running rough with loss of power. Took the truck to dealer and dealer reports compression loss as reason for engine failure. After doing some research there appears to be a major issue with the same engine (2.7 ecoboost) of the same year(2021) reported for the Bronco and F150 for catastrophic engine failure. I suspect this is the same engine failure that my truck experienced.

Lower coolant hose is rubbing on a wire loom which caused wear on the coolant hose causing a leak. We experienced loss of coolant and temperature fluctuating, no overheating because employee reported fluctuating. Vehicle was taken to Sames Ford Motor Company and warranty was honored.

Driving down the freeway, horn started blaring and power completely went out in car -engine steering etc The dealership is replacing the computer in the vehicle

At 1200 miles the engine shook while driving and a puff of white smoke came out the tailpipe. The dealership claimed it was a faulty sparkplug. 150 miles later the low oil pressure light came on while driving at 75mph. After the local dealership offering nothing to resolve the problem over many weeks, another dealership found oil was passing through the heads.

Seal - Valve - Ford (KL3Z-9U465-A) I have the same engine that is failing in all of the new Ford Broncos - Ford's 2.7L V6 2nd Generation, however, I have this engine in an F-150. My vehicle has been sitting at the dealership for over a month, diagnosed with a faulty valve (same issue that is in the broncos) Seal - Valve - Ford (KL3Z-9U465-A) Something needs to be done about this - Ford has offered me no loaner or rental vehicle AND I am still paying car payments while it is sitting up there at Ford! Complete engine failure at 2,300 miles. The engine is a 2.7 V6 which has recently been documented as having potential engine problems per Motor Trend. The truck just stopped running with no warning.

My brand new F150 2021 had a powertrain malfunction with power totally reduced. I had no ability to accelerate. I had to glide over to the side of the road. I restarted the car. It reset, i went to accelerate and again i had an error code and my car froze. I was able to restart again and drive over to my Ford dealership i purchased it from at 15 miles per hour. The problem was reproduced once and confirmed by the dealer. The dealer has contacted Ford and was told they have never seen that error code for a F150. The GM of Ford here in Montana told me if they cant reproduce the problem again, i can have the truck back. This truck is 3 weeks old. I am terrified.

I purchased the truck early 2021. After about 6500 miles, upon starting the vehicle a warning message to the effect of "Oil Level Low, Add Oil" appeared. After manually checking my oil dipstick, I found the oil level to be below the safe oil line. I promptly took the truck to the Ford Dealership in which I purchased it. The service technician informed me of one other case he has personally experienced where the PCV system was defective, allowing an excessive amount of oil to be consumed. Ford was unable to receive my vehicle for service for 1-2 weeks due to a full service schedule. It was at this point I attempted to go to a 3rd party vendor for an oil change.
