DESTINATION LE2 P-METRIC OWL P275/65R18 114T 60,000 Mile Limited Warranty ALL (4) tires peeled on the outside sidewall
All four of the tires on my vehicle are Cooper Adventurer Tires that I purchased at Pep Boys. I have two tires that are DOT UTUJ1HL1519 and two tires that are DOT UTUJ1HL0419. I received a notice that these tires were recalled under NHTSA Recall Notice 21T-002 and Cooper Tire recall notice 178. We have brought the vehicle to the Pep Boys located at 7465 N Mesa Street, El Paso, TX 79912 on at least 5 separate occasions. Rather than verify the tires and order the replacement tires, the desk clerk and then the Service Manager have given us the run around. The tires have now been recalled since March 2021 and we started to go into this store in May 2021 to get the issue resolved. TIRE TREAD SEPARATION ON FEDERAL COURAGIA TIRE. ONLY ONE TIRE HAS A SEPARATION ON THE RIGHT HAND WALL OF TIRE. NOTICED THE VEHICLE WAS VEERING TO ONE SIDE, SO VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP FOR INSPECTION. MANUFACTURED WAS CONTACTED ABOUT THIS BUT CLAIM THAT THERE ARE NO ACTIVE RECALLS ON THIS TIRE. THE OPTION TO CHOOSE TIRE MODEL DIDN'T HAVE THIS PARTICULAR TIRE MODEL. THE TIRE MODEL IS: FEDERAL COURAGIA M/T
SIDE WALL DEFECT IN TIRE CAUSE TIRE FAILURE & ACCIDENT . FRONT RIGHT TIRE BLOW OUT CAUSE VEHICLE TO PULL HARD RIGHT HITTING CAR IN FAR RIGHT TURN LANE . VEHICLE TIRE BLEW CAUSING IT TO SIDESWIPE NEXT TO IT. HOLE IN SIDEWALL DISCOVERED AFTER ACCIDENT .
2015 FORD F-150. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO AIRBAG PROBLEMS, IGNITION PROBLEMS AND VEHICLE TIRES ISSUES. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED THE A/C BLEW OUT HOT AIR, THE TRANSMISSION WAS JERKY WHEN HE APPLIED THE BRAKE, THEN THE ACCELERATOR. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS FIRST STARTED, THERE WAS A LOUD GRINDING/GROWLING NOISE COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE BY THE DRIVER FRONT WHEEL, THERE WAS EXCESSIVE CABIN NOISE, AND TIRE NOISE. THE ELECTRIC ENGINE FAN CAME ON WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS SITTING OUTSIDE IN THE HEAT, THE UNDERCARRIAGE WAS SHOWING SIGNS OF CORROSION. WATER WAS LEAKING THROUGH THE DRIVER ASSIST HANDLE GRIP NEAR THE WINDSHIELD. *JB
