Reverse gear went out after vehicle slipped once, acted as if in neutral when in reverse and pressing gas pedal down but would not move. Had local towing and mechanic shop in Gower Missouri check transmission fluid level in which was found to be a quart low on transmission fluid. Car had been extremely well maintained and all recommended maintenance services completed by previous owners. Able to drive car in all other gears, codes p0007 code appear with no check engine light or any type of warning or indication that a problem was present within my 2005 Chrysler 300 3.5l v6 rwd car with the 42rle transmission My vehicle also has issues occur suddenly regarding front end suspension has death shake and very loud clinking popping banging noises while driving at all speeds. Steering wheel has a weird squeek/creeking noise when turning the wheel at times and feels like steering...

THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OFF THE ROADWAY AND NOTICED THAT THE OIL WARNING INDICATOR WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND IT OPERATED NORMALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE VIN WAS INVALID. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

I WAS DRIVING ON A CITY STREET, GOING 25 MPH WHEN I HEARD A KNOCKING SOUND, I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING I HAD HIT BUT, IT WASN'T. I KEPT DRIVING FOR ABOUT 5 BLOCKS WHEN IT OCCURRED AGAIN. I PULLED INTO A SERVICE STATION AND THE MECHANIC TOLD ME THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS MY TIE RODS. I CONTACTED A MECHANIC AND HE TOLD ME THAT ITS WAS THE TIE RODS. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM IN ALL THE YEARS I HAVE HAD MY CAR, BUT THIS IS A FIRST. NOT SURE IF THIS IS UNDER A RECALL OR IF ANYONE ELSE IS EXPERIENCING THIS, BUT IT CAN BE FRIGHTENING. *TR
I WAS DRIVING IN THE FAST LANE ON THE INTERSTATE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR BEGAN TO SHUT DOWN. IT TOOK ALL MY MIGHT TO MOVE THE CAR FROM THE FAST LANE TO THE MEDIAN, WHICH WAS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE SLOW LANE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS WHERE IT WAS STATED THAT THE SHIFT INTERLOCK NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 172,000.

I NOTICED THAT WHEN I DRIVE MY CAR IT PULLS TO THE RIGHT. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER TO HAVE IT FIXED AND THE SERVICEMAN SAID THAT THE PROBLEM WAS FIXED IT JUST NEEDED AN ALIGNMENT. I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP AND DROVE DOWN THE HWY AND IT BEGAN TO PULL TO THE RIGHT AGAIN. I WENT BACK TO THE REPAIR SHOP AND THEY SAID TO ME THAT THE ALIGNMENT MACHINE SAID THAT IT WAS ALIGNED JUST PERFECT. SO I TOOK THE REPAIRMAN ON A TEST DRIVE AND AGAIN IT PULL TO THE RIGHT. SO BACK TO THE REPAIR SHOP WE WENT AND THEY REPLACE A BOLT OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT(TSB) AND IT STILL PULLS TO THE RIGHT. I NOTICE A LOT OF THE 05 MODELS HAVE THAT PROBLEM, BUT IT SEEMS AS THOUGH CHRYSLER HAS FIXED THE PROBLEM ON THE 06 AND NEWER MODELS. WHEN YOU HIT DIVOT...
DRIVING ON CURVE ON A BUSY HIGHWAY, WAS UNABLE TO MAKE SLIGHT TURN UNTIL I FORCED STEERING WHEEL TO TURN. SIGNAL LIGHT SOME HOW JAMMED UP STEERING. IF IT WAS MY WIFE SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE I HAD TO APPLY A LOT OF FORCE TO TURN AND DOING SO HEARD SOMETHING SNAP IN THE STEERING COLUMN. STEERING IS WORKING NOW. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS WITH MY CHRYSLER 300, WHICH ARE BECOMING MORE COSTLY AND DEFEATING THE PURPOSE OF MY PURCHASING A NEW CAR. FIRST, I WAS SUBJECT TO A RECALL REGARDING THE TRANSMISSION. NEXT, THE RACK AND PINION WENT OUT. THANKFULLY THAT WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. NOW I HAVE TO REPAIR THE OUTER TIE RODS WHEN I HAVE LESS THAN 75,000 MILES ON THE CAR. THIS REPAIR IS $500.00 ON TOP OF WHAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE CAR PAYMENT AND IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE BRAKES RECENTLY HAD TO BE REPLACED (ANOTHER $350.00) AND I AM ALSO BEING PRESENTED WITH ISSUES PERTAINING TO THE OIL PAN (WHICH APPARENTLY IS MADE OF PLASTIC). *TR
I HAVE A 2005 300C THAT I BOUGHT IN APRIL 2007, IT ONLY HAD 14425, MILES, WHEN I TESTED DROVE IT, I NOTICE THAT IT WAS PULLING TO THE RIGHT, I THOUGHT IT WAS A LOW TIRE, AND I WAS IN LOVE WITH THE CAR FROM THE TIME I SAW IT. I PURCHASED A 2005 CHRYSLER 300C ON DEC 9 2004 FROM WARNOCK OF NJ. NOTICED RIGHT AWAY PULLING IN FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE. BROUGHT THE CAR BACK INTO THE DEALER ON 12/12/05. THE DEALER STATED THERE WAS NO PROBLEM BROUGHT THE CAR BACK IN ON 3/22/05 THE DEALER STATES NO PROBLEM. BROUGHT IT BACK IN ON 6/24/05 FOR THE STEERING WHEEL BEING CROOKED THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. BROUGHT THE CAR TO CHRYSLER OF PARAMUS ON 9/8/05 FOR THE PULLING AGAIN IN THE FRONT END. THEY FIXED THAT.HAD THE CAR BACK INTO WARNOCK CHRYSLER 11/10/05 FOR THE RIMS ON MY CAR WERE RUSTED. THEY WOULDNT REPLACE THEM I HAD TO FIGHT WITH CHRYSLER. 12/24/05 TOOK CAR TO WESTWOOD CHRYSLER...
EVER SINCE I PURCHASED MY CHRYSLER 300C IN AUGUST OR SEPT OF 2004 IT HAS PULLED TO THE RIGHT. I HAVE HAD THE FRONT END RE-ALIGNED ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS WITHOUT SUCCESS. THE DEALERS ALWAYS OVER-INFLATE THE TIRES TO 35 PSI TO MASK THE PROBLEM. *JB

2005 CHRYSLER 300 TOURING PURCHASED ON 11/4/2004 BEGAN MAKING A LOUD MOANING, STRAINING NOISE WHEN THE AIR CONDITIONING IS TURNED ON, THE DAY AFTER PURCHASE. THERE IS ALSO A VERY NOTICEABLE VIBRATING SENSATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND BRAKE. DURING A/C USE, THE ENGINE HAS AN IRREGULAR IDLE TO AN ALMOST STALL WHEN MAKING TURNS DURING BACKING AND FORWARD MOVEMENT OF VEHICLE AT VERY SLOW SPEEDS SUCH AS BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE. TOOK IT TO DEALER IN SAN DIEGO, CA AND THEY SAID THEY DID NOTICE THIS STRANGE, ONGOING PROGRESSIVE CONDITION BUT SAID THEY COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT BECAUSE THERE HAD BEEN NO MANUFACTURER RECALL. WE THEN BROUGHT THE CAR BACK AGAIN FOR PULLING TO THE RIGHT ABOUT 1 WEEK LATER AND AGAIN THE TOLD US IT WAS FIXED.THE VEHICLE WAS NOT PULLING AS MUCH BUT STILL WAS. ABOUT 2 WEEKS LATER THE CAR WAS RED LINING, NOT SHIFTING AND STALLING ON HER. WE BROUGHT THE CAR TO EATONTOWN CHRYSLER IN WHICH THEY FOUND A TRANSMISSION SOLENOID TO BE BAD AND REPLACED IT. WE THEN STARTED TO EXPERIENCE ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS SUCH AS REAR WINDOW NOT WORKING ALL THE TIME AND...
WHILE DRIVING MY 2005 CHRYSLER 300 WITH THE HEMI MOTOR THRU MY SUBDIVISION AT 25MI PER HOUR THE RACK-N-PINION BROKE AND THE STABILIZER BAR BROKE, CAUSING A BADLY BENT RIM, THAT CAUSED THE BOLTS UNDER THE CAR TO BECOME SHEARED OFF, CAUSING A ACCIDENT.
