THE CAR BE STALLING AND IF I DON'T LET IT WARM UP AND I TAKE OFF IT WILL CUT OFF AND I WILL HAVE TO GET A JUMP BECAUSE IT KILLS BATTERY. THE CAR NOW NEEDS A JUMP EVERY TIME YOU CUT IT OFF AND ALL OF A SUDDEN NOW THE CAR WANT GO IN NO GEAR. THE DASHBOARD HAS SERVICE TRANSMISSION AND BRAKE SYSTEM.
VEHICLES TURNS OFF WHILE DRIVING WITH NO WARNING SIGNS
LOTS OF ELECTRICAL ISSUES. CERTAIN DAYS WILL NOT 'DETECT' KEY FOB. CAR WILL STALL AND TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING. STALLED ON ME WHILE ON ENTRANCE RAMP TO HIGHWAY. LOTS OF ELECTRICAL ISSUES AND THROTTLE SYSTEM. WILL COMPLETELY SHUT MY CAR OFF AND ASK FOR 'ANTI THEFT PIN'. (I BOUGHT USED FROM DEALERSHIP BUT NEVER GIVEN A PIN). I WILL HAVE TO TURN THE CAR OFF, GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE, LOCK IT, UNLOCK IT AND RESTART TO GET THE ANTI THEFT CODE
I'VE ONLY HAD MY CAR FOR LESS THAN 2 MONTHS NOW AND THE CAR IS NOT SWITCHING GEARS PROPERLY, THE CAR ALSO WILL NOT START SOMETIMES THE MESSAGE DISPLAYS THAT IT IS NOT IN PARK AND WILL NOT START FOR A WHILE. ON 11/22/2019 THE CAR WOULD NOT START AND IT ALSO WOULD NOT TURN OFF, IT WAS STUCK IN ACC AND ON MODE, IT TOOK ABOUT 3 HOURS TO GET THE CAR TO COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. ALSO, WHILE I'M DRIVING WHEN IT ACTUALLY MOVES IT ACTS LIKE IT WANTS TO CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE STREETS.
SERVICE AIR BAG SYSTEM NOTICE COMES ON, AS WELL WITH THE VEHICLE DRIVING GROGGY. DOES NOT HAVE PROPER THROTTLE RESPONSE, ENGINE SHUDDERS AND VIBRATES AS WELL WITH STALLING AT A RED LIGHT. ALL HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING AND SITTING STATIONARY.
WHILE DRIVING MY VEHICLE STALLS OUT AND GIVES ME A MESSAGE ON THE CLUSTER TO, "SHIFT TO PARK TO START". WHEN I STOP THE VEHICLE AND SHIFT TO PARK I PRESS THE BUTTON TO START AND IT HESITATES AND SOMETIMES HAVE TO PRESS 3 OR 4 TIMES BEFORE IT STARTS. THEN I PRESS ON THE GAS WHILE IN PARK AND IT IS A VERY SLOW CLIMB IN THE RPMS. AFTER A FEW ATTEMPTS AT PRESSING THE GAS IT SEEMS TO BE OK. I THEN SHIFT INTO DRIVE AND IT MOVES A FEW FEET AND DOES THE SAME STALLING OUT AND ERROR MESSAGE ON THE CLUSTER. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY, CITY STREETS AND SOMETIMES TURNING. I AM SCARED TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE AND SEEING THAT THERE ARE RECALLS BUT NONE FOR MY VIN # AND ALOT OF THE DESCRIPTIONS ARE SIMILAR TO WHAT I AM EXPERIENCING.
THE HEADLIGHTS WILL CUT OUT AS IM DRIVING.. SOMETIMES ONE SIDE FIRST THEN BOTH.. OR BOTH ST THE SAME TIME.. AS IM DRIVING THE AIR BAG LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF ON ITS OWN MY TPMS LIGHT WILL COME ON AND SOME DAYS IT WON'T SHOW THE PSI IN THE TIRE ON THE DASH
THE VEHICLE TURNS OFF WHILE DRIVING. HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES. HAVE TO PULL OVER AND RESTART THE ENGINE. IT HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES AND HAS NO EARNING OR EARNINGS ON DASHBOARD. IT HAPPENED TODAY DRIVING HOME IN THE RAIN.
THE CAR STARTS FINE, BUT WILL DIE WHEN IDLING OR AT A DECLINE IN SPEED. WILL SHUT OFF HAVE YOU PLACE THE CAR BACK IN PARK TO TRY AND RESTART. SOMETIME IT WILL START AFTER 5 SECONDS AFTER SHUT OFF AND OTHERS WILL TAKE A FEW MINUTES. ITS A HARD RESTART WHEN IT DOES START, AND DRIVES ROUGH FOR THE FIRST 5 MILES OR SO, AND RETURNS TO DRIVING FINE. MY CAR HAS DONE THIS MULITPLE TIMES AT RED LIGHTS AND WHILE TURNING ONTO A EXIT RAMP DURNING THE DECELERATION ONTO A HIGHWAY.
CHANGED BATTERY IN CAR IT WOULDN'T GO IN BUT ONE GEAR N THAT WAS NEUTRAL HAD TO TAKE IT TO THE SHOP N THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SINCE JUST CHANGED THE BATTERY
WHEN THE VEHICLE IS IN NEUTRAL IS SPUTTERS AND THE ELECTRICAL FLICKERS. I REPLACED THE BATTERY AND IT IS STILL DOING IT. THE RPMS RANDOMLY FLUCTUATE AND IT'S NOT CONSISTENT. I FEEL LIKE THE VEHICLE IS JUST GOING TO STALL OUT AS I'M DRIVING DOWN THE FREEWAY. ALSO THE IGNITION BUTTON I HAVE TO HOLD ON AND CANNOT JUST PUSH THE START BUTTON. IT'S JUST NOT RUNNING PROPERLY.
AFTER REACHING 75,000 MILES, MY CAR STARTED TO STALL AND TURN OFF BY ITSELF WHILE DRIVING. I PERFORMED AN OIL CHANGE, MADE SURE ALL THE MAINTENANCE WAS UP TO DATE, ETC. IT HAS A NEW BATTERY LESS THAN A YEAR OLD, NEW TIRES, ETC. EVENTUALLY IT STALLED AND SHUT OFF ON ITS OWN WHILE STOPPED AND WOULD NOT TURN BACK ON. EVERY TIME I TRY TO TURN IT BACK ON, IT STALLS AND SHUTS OFF BUT THE SHIFTER LIGHTS BLINK REPEATEDLY. I HAVE A CODE THAT APPEARED ON A MECHANIC'S CODE READER WHICH WAS U1504. HE COULD NOT DIAGNOSE IT. CHRYSLER WOULD NOT LOOK AT IT AND WANTED $125 JUST TO DO DIAGNOSTICS. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF THIS WAS ONE OF THE RECALLED ISSUES AS I KNOW THEY HAVE BEEN HAVING ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ISSUES.
SHIFT CONTROL MODULE IS DEFECTIVE - CONSOLE MESSAGE READS ' SERVICE TRANS STOP SAFELY SHUT OFF ENGINE TO ENGAGE PARK' THIS HAPPEND AFTER I STOPPED AND THEN STARTED CAR, MESSAGE STAYED ON CONSOLE- WITH ONLY 40992 MILES - DEALER IS CHARGING $700.00 FOR FIX
WHEN I'M DRIVING THE VEHICLE AFTER A FEW FEET OF DRIVING THE VEHICLE MY CAR BEGINS TO TO SHAKE THEN IT TURNS OFF, WHILE I'M ON THE STREET. A LOT OF LIGHTS BEGIN TO TURN ON THEN MY CAR TURNS OFF AGAIN. WHEN I TRY TO TURN IT OFF THE TRANSMISSION LOCKS INTO NEUTRAL AND WON'T LET ME TURN IT OFF. AT SOME POINT ONCE THE LIGHTS TURN ON MY SPEED BEGINS TO SLOW DOWN, FROM GOING AT 75 ON THE FREEWAY IT SLOWLY START TO DECREASE AND WHEN I HIT THE GAS PEDAL IT TAKES A WHILE TO PICK UP THE SPEED. IT'S BEEN LIKE THAT FOR ABOUT A MONTH.
MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200 WILL JUST DIE WHILE BEING DRIVEN. I STARTED THE CAR DROVE LESS THAN A MILE WHEN IT TURNED OFF AND COASTED TO A STOP. I TRIED TO RESTART THE CAR BUT IT JUST KEPT MAKING NOISES, AS I KEPT TRYING TO GET IT TO START IT CAUSED THE BATTERY TO DRAIN SO LOW I HAD TO CALL AAA . THIS SEEMS TO BE A BIG PROBLEM AS THERE ARE A TON OF OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE HAD THIS SAME ISSUE!
THE SERVICE TRANSMISSION AND THE SERVICE PARKING BREAK BOTH WENT OFF AFTER NO USE FOR ABOUT 7 HOURS THEN WENT TO DRIVE AND POPPED UP FOR NO APPARENT REASON.
THE CONSOLE SCREEN SHUTS OFF COMPLETELY APPROXIMATELY EVER 60 SECONDS. THIS OCCURS BOTH WHEN THE CAR IS STATIONARY AND IN MOTION. IT HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS. IT HAS BEEN INSPECTED TWICE AND NO DIAGNOSTIC WAS ABLE TO BE PRODUCED. ALSO, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL NOT TURN OFF. THIS HAS BEEN INSPECTED AND TURNED OFF TWICE, BUT COMES BACK ON VERY QUICKLY.
THE CAR STALLED OUT AND COMPLETELY SHUT OFF AS I WAS DRIVING 30 MPH. IT WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND COULD'VE CAUSED A ACCIDENT. IT WOULDN'T TURN BACK ON FOR ABOUT A MINUTE. THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE IN THE PAST WEEK. I LOOKED UP OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD SAME ISSUE AND IT SHOWS THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE VEHICLE. A LOT OF OTHERS HAD THE SAME ISSUE. THE RECALL NUMBER WAS S09. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO WITH MY VEHICLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IT'S TOO DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. THIS HAPPENED WITH MY KIDS IN THE CAR.
I WAS IN A HURRY AND GOT OUT OF MY CAR WITHOUT SHUTTING IT OFF. I RAN TO GET THE SHUTTLE TO TAKE ME TO WORK 2 MILES A WAY WITH THE KEYS IN MY PURSE, WHEN I RETURNED 9 HOURS LATER MY CARE WAS STILL RUNNING AND THE GAS TANK WAS ALMOST EMPTY. I THOUGHT IF YOU TOOK THE KEY AWAY FROM THE CAR AND ACCIDENTALLY LEFT IT RUNNING IT WOULD AUTOMATICALLY SHUT OFF AFTER 30 MINUTES. AM I WRONG ABOUT THIS FUNCTION? AS FOR THE TRANSMISSION IT HAS BEEN SLIPPING IN D4 RANDOMLY, WHILE DRIVING. THE CAR HAS LESS THAN 65000 MILES AND I HAVE ONLY OWNED IT FOR 4 MONTHS. IS THIS A NORMAL TRANSMISSION COMPLAINT?

THE CARS ENTIRE COMPUTER SYSTEM WENT OUT AND HAD TO BE REPLACED. LUCKILY, I WAS STOPPED WHEN IT OFFICIALLY QUIT WORKING, BUT PRIOR TO THAT IT HAD BEEN STALLING. WHEN THE COMPUTER SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING I COULD NOT START THE CAR OR TURN ANY OF THE INTERNAL SYSTEMS ON. ALSO, THE PAINT ON THE DOOR RANDOMLY STARTED PEELING WITH NO RUSTING OR ANY REASON TO. THE PAINT HAS NEVER BEEN REDONE BEFORE AND IS THE MANUFACTURED PAINT.

MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200C ALL-WHEEL DRIVE 3.6 L V6 HAS RANDOMLY HAD BOUTS OF STIFFNESS/LACK OF NORMAL TENSION IN MY STEERING USUALLY WHEN GOING TO TURN HUT HAS HAPPENED AT OTHER TIMES AS WELL LIKE WHEN CHANGING LANES! ALSO I'VE NOTICED A CLICKING/CREAKING BREAK PEDAL THAT WILL SPORADICALLY GET SEVERLY STIFF AND WHEN DEPRESSED DOES NOT SLOW THE VEHICLE OR IT WILL CLICK AND SINK LIKE THE PEDAL BBN IS GOING TO FALL THROUGH MY FLOOR BOARD WHILE I'M TRYING TO BREAK AT ANY SPEED! THIS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL I SHOULD NOT BE STUCK WITH THE $20,000 BILL AND HAVE MY CHILDREN RIDING AROUND IN A CAR THAT DOESN'T WANT TO BREAK OR STEER PROPERLY AND I'VE HAD MULTIPLE MECHANICS LOOK AT IT AND THEY SAY EVERYTHING'S JUST FINE WITH IT OF COURSE THEY THINK THAT BECAUSE IT'S NOT A CONSISTENT PROBLEM IT JUST SO HAPPENS TO GO OUT SAME...
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. HAD VEHICLE CHECK AND GOT A CODE. U1504 IMPLAUSIBLE MESSAGE DATA LENGTH RECEIVED FROM STEERING ANGLE SENSOR. AIRBAG CLOCKSPRING NEEDS TO BE REPLACE BECAUSE AIRBAD MAY NOT DOPLOY DURING AN ACCIDENT. WAS TOLD TO CONTACT THE DEALERSHIP TO SEE IF THERE WAS A RECALL. THERE IS NOT AT THIS TIME. THIS IS A DEFECTIVE PART OF THE SAFTEY SYSTEM ON THE CAR AND THEY DO NOT WANT TO COVER IT.
THE TRANSMISSION DRIVE TRANS IS MAKING A CLUNKING NOISE EVERY TIME YOU WOULD STOP I TOOK IT IN AND THEY UPDATED THE PCM AND TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE IT SHIFTED BETTER BUT THE CLINKING NOISE IS STILL THERE.THE E BREAK AUTOMATICALLY COMES ON FREQUENTLY WHEN YOU PUT IT IN REVERSE OUT OF NOWHERE. THE CLINKING NOISE HAPPENS MORE WHEN YOU'RE IN THE CITY AND ON THE HIGHWAY END IT FEELS LIKE THE ABS COMES ON AS WELL BUT NOT FOR SURE
UPON STARTING CAR' AIRBAG LIGHT MAY OR MAY NOT BE ON. LIGHT TURNS ON AND OFF WITHOUT WARNING AND HAS BEEN ONGOING. SEEMS TO BE ROUGH IDLE' WHEN I PLACE THE CAR IN GEAR IT JERKS. DURING NORMAL DRIVING THE CAR STALLS CAUSING A SAFETY CONCERN FOR REAR END IMPACT WHILE AIRBAG LIGHT MAY BE ON THAT MAY CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH. THIS MATTER SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND CORRECTIVE MEASURES TAKEN. AFTER READING TESTIMONIALS ABOUT OTHER 2015 CHRYSLER 200 OWNERS' THERE OBVIOUSLY IS A PATTERN WITH SAFETY CONCERNS.
VEHICLE SHUTTING OFF BY ITSELF ALSO AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON
WHEN HITTING THE BREAKS SOMETIMES THE VEHICLE STALLS OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC HAVING TO PUT IN PARK POSITION AND TRY TO RESTART THE CAR. SOMETIMES TAKE A MINUTE TO EVEN RESTART AND IT DOESN'T ALWAYS LET ME SHIFT IT INTO DRIVE RIGHT AWAY. THIS IN RESULT COULD CAUSE SOMEONE TO REAR END ME. I AM NOTICING THERE IS A RECALL CALLED R24 WHICH SEAMS TO BE WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MY VEHICLE.
ONCE I TRIED STARTING MY CAR I GOT NO KEY FOB DETECTED. WHEN I PLACED MY KEY FOB NEXT TO THE START BUTTON EVERYTHING WOULD POWER UP BUT WOULDN'T CRANK. THE AIR WOULD TURN ON THE NUETRAL WOULD FLASH ON THE GEARS SHAFT BUT STILL WOULDN'T CRANK. IT THEN WOULDN'T TURN OFF FROM RUN. THE CAR EVENTUALLY WOULDN'T SHOW ANY POWER SO I HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID IT WAS THE BATTERY WHICH THEY REPLACE A YEAR PRIOR SO IT WOULDN'T BE NO COST. PULIS THEY DID AN OIL CHANGE. I CALLED AND THEY SAID MY CAR WAS READY. WHEN I PICKED UP MY CAR I NOTICED THE AIR WASN'T TURNING ON AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON. I WENT BACK AND SPOKE WITH A SALES PERSON WHOM SAID TO BRING IT BACK THE NEXT DAY CAUSE THE MECHANICS WAS GONE. I BRUNG IT BACK KNOW THEY...
WHILE DRIVING OR ACCELERATING FROM A STOP MY VEHICLE WILL LOSE ALL POWER AND WILL DISPLAY A MESSAGE SAYING SHIFT TO PARK. THE GEAR KNOB WILL FLASH AND LOCK, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AND OTHER MESSAGES WILL POP UP SAYING TO SERVICE TRANSMISSION. ALSO WHILE ACCELERATING MY VEHICLE JUMPS. THERE WAS ONE TIME THE VEHICLE COMPLETELY STALLED WHILE TURNING. ALL OF MY DRIVING IS ON CITY STREETS AND VERY RARELY DO I DRIVE ON A HIGHWAY.

THE CONTACT WOULD HAVE TO DEPRESS THE BRAKE PEDAL FOR THE VEHICLE TO POWER BACK ON AND ACCELERATE FORWARD. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO DON FRANKLIN CAMPBELLSVILLE (LOCATED AT 200 N BYPASS RD, CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY, 42718, 877-702-2230) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BATTERY VOLTAGE CIRCUIT, CONTROL MODULE, AND FRONT DRIVER'S SIDE SPEED SENSOR FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO EXHIBIT THE SAME FAILURE. THE CONTACT HAD TO JUMPSTART THE VEHICLE IN ORDER TO DRIVE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC WHO STATED THAT DIAGNOSTIC CODE: (TIPM MODULE U0001) APPEARED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000.
AS I AM DRIVING THIS CAR WAS SHUT OFF AND THEN I WILL HAVE TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK RESTART THE CAR SOMETIMES IT WILL STALL BEFORE WE STARTING BUT OTHER TIMES IT WILL RESTART AND THEN I CONTINUE ON AND THIS MAY HAPPEN THREE TO FOUR TIMES ESPECIALLY IN THE MORNING THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR THE CAR TO STOP WHILE I'M DRIVING WITHOUT WARNING IT'S A HAZARD AND CAN LEAD TO A BAD ACCIDENT.
THE RADIO BEGAN TO BUFFER AND WOULD REPEATEDLY CUT OFF AND ON WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THE TOUCH SCREEN WOULD BE FROZEN DURING THIS TIME AND I COULD NOT OPERATE ANY CONTROLS. EVENTUALLY THE CAR STARTED TO STALL DUE TO THE BUFFERING RADIO DRAINING THE BATTERY. A NEW RADIO IS ON BACK ORDER AND WON'T BE IN UNTIL OCTOBER FOR AN ISSUE THAT HAS BEEN OCCURRING SINCE EARLY SUMMER. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THERE ISN'T A RECALL ON THIS RADIO DUE TO SO MANY PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. IF A PART IS ON BACK ORDER, THAT SHOULD LET CHRYSLER KNOW THERE IS A REPEATED ISSUE WITH THIS AND IT SHOULD BE RECALLED. I HAVE READ MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS CAR AND SEEN VIDEOS ONLINE OF OTHERS DEMONSTRATING THE SAME ISSUE. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CHRYSLER.
I'VE HAD MULTIPLE ISSUES. FIRST, MY CAR STALLED AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN MAIN STREETS, THE FIRST TIME I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP, THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM WITH IT. SECOND DEALERSHIP I TOOK IT TO SAID IT WAS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE MY CAR WAS HAVING, KEPT IT FOR A WEEK, REPAIRED THE ISSUE.SECOND TIME I TOOK IT IN WAS BECAUSE MY AIRBAG ALERT ILLUMINATED ON THE DASH, AGAIN, THEY SAID IT WAS A WIRING ISSUE, SOMEONE HAD KICKED THE WIRING LOOSE UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT.THEN I HAD IT TOWED IN BECAUSE IT COMPLETELY STOPPED ON ME WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT .NOW IT'S IN THE SHOP BECAUSE THE MALFUNCTION CAME ON, I STILL ATTEMPTED TO DRIVE IT TO WORK,BUT WHEN I WENT BACK OUT FOR LUNCH, IT WOULDN'T START. ROADSIDE JUMPSTARTED IT, AND IT STARTED. WENT BACK OUT WHEN I GOT OFF WORK AND IT WOULDN'T...
CHANGED THE BATTERY OUT AND MY ENTIRE CLIMATE CONTROL SHUT DOWN. FAN OR DEFROST WON'T WORK, HEAT OR AIR. DEALERSHIP SAID THE CLIMATE PANEL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE COMPUTER IS FRIED.
"TAKATA RECALL". TO BEGIN, MY CAR WOULDN'T ACCELERATE, I'D BE DRIVING AND IT WOULD HESITATE THEN TAKE OFF REALLTY HARD AS TO EVEN JERK. THEN ANOTHER ISSUE OCCURRED WITH THE DASH ILLUMINATING TELLING ME MY AIRBAGS ALERT DISPLAYING ON MY DASH (2X)TOOK IT BACK TO DEALERSHIP, THOUGH THEY KEPT IT FOR A WEEK, THEY SAID IT WAS BECAUSE SOMEONE KICKED THE WIRING LOOSE UNDER MY PASSENGER SEAT. NO ONE HAS EVER SAT IN MY BACK SEAT. NOW MY CAR IS IN THE SHOP BECAUSE AT FIRST THE MALFUNCTION LIGHT ILLUMINATED, DROVE MY CAR TO WORK, RETURNED TO MY CAR AND IT WOULDN'T START, HAD ROADSIDE...
VEHICLE WILL NOT START UP, ALL LIGHTS WILL COME ON DASH BUT WILL NOT TURN ON OR CRANK. VEHICLE DISPLAYED "SERVICE SHIFTER" AS WELL AS "SERVICE TRANSMISSION" SIGNS AND THEN WOULD NOT ACCELERATE OVER 34 MPH. CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS COMES ON BUT THEN TURNS OFF BY ITSELF. I JUST PURCHASED THE CAR AND HAVEN'T HAD IT FOR 15 DAYS.
PUSH BUTTON START REQUIRES FOOT ON BRAKE, CAR IN PARK AND PRESS OF BUTTON/IGNITION. WHEN DOING SO, THE ENGINE WILL NOT START. LIGHTS, RADIO, OPEN DOOR WARNING BELLS DING, BUT CAR WILL NOT START. FUSES AND BATTERY HAVE BEEN CHECKED AND ARE GOOD. CAR MUST BE BOOSTED OFF TO START. CHRYSLER WILL NOT FIX THIS ON THEIR DIME EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE RECALLS FOR THIS ON OTHER VEHICLES OF THE SAME MAKE AND MODEL AS MINE. SERVICE AND RECALL TEAM WAS VERY RUDE AND REFUSED TO OFFER ANY HELP.
MY ACTIVE GRILL SHUTTER KEEPS ON COMING UP THE SHUTTER AND THE HARNESS KEEPS COMING UP IT WAS FIXED TWICE WITH IN THE LAST 6 MONTHS BECAUSE OF THIS ISSUE I CANT REMOTE START MY CAR. IN NEED OF HELP
MY CAR HAS SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING I WAS PULLING OFF OF A STOP SIGN THIS IS A HUGE SAFTEY HAZARD
THE CAR WAS PARKED IN A PARKING LOT AND WENT TO START THE CAR AND IT WOULDN'T START. IT MADE SOME UNUSUAL NOISES AND ALL KINDS OF LIGHTS FLASHING. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WAS FLICKERING OFF AND ON. MANY WARNINGS POPPED UP. THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS VERY HARD TO PUSH, THERE WAS A LOT OF RESISTANCE. EVEN SAID CAR FOB NOT DETECTED AND BOTH FOBS WERE IN THE CAR AND HAVE NEW BATTERIES. WHEN WE GOT OUT AND LOCKED THE CAR AND TRIED TO GET BACK IN THE CAR, WE COULDN'T GET IT TO UNLOCK. THEN TRIED TO UNLOCK IT A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER AND WAS ABLE TO GET IT TO UNLOCK BUT CAR STILL WOULDN'T START.
"TAKATA RECALL" YOU HAD PUBLISHED ON JULY 28, 2015 OF AN INTERMITTENT CONNECTION C4 CONNECTOR & PDC RECALL FOR CHRYSLER CARS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS RECALL WAS DUE TO INTERMITTENT LOSS OF POWER TO ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS CAUSING VEHICLE TO STALL WITHOUT WARNING. WE HAVE A 2015 CHRYSLER 200 AND IT HAS THE SAME ISSUE THAT WAS OUTLINED IN THE RECALL. I CALLED THE HOTLINE AND SPOKE TO A LADY THAT STATED THAT NOT ALL CARS THAT ARE AFFECTED BY THE RECALL; ARE RECALLED. OUR VEHICLE HAS WITHIN THE PAST 3-4 WEEKS STALLED ON THE HIGHWAY 2-3 TIMES AND EVEN PULLING INTO OUR OWN DRIVEWAY. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AND ISSUE A RECALL SO WE WILL NOT BE PART OF A VEHICLE ACCIDENT.
MY CHRYSLER 200 YEAR 2015 AND WHILE DRIVING IT ON THE FREEWAY IT WILL MOT GET THE SPEED UP. THE MIST IT GOES IS ABOUT 60 MILES PER HOUR AND THIS IS WHEN IM ALREADY ON THE FREEWAY. WHEN ENTERING THE FREEWAY IT GOES IN VERY SLOWLY I PUSH GAS PEDAL AND IT WON'T GO PAST 40 MILES PER HOUR. ALSO AT ANY TIME WHILE DRIVING IT, IT STARTS PULLING ITSELF LIKE IF IT WANTS TO TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING. I FEEL THIS US VERY DANGEROUS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. I HAVE CHANGED SPARK PLUGS AND COILS AND IT CONTINUES TO NIT FUNCTION CORRECTLY.

TRANSMISSION ISSUES FOR ALMOST A YEAR. I HAVE EXPLAINED THEM TO THE DEALERSHIP WHO REFUSES TO DOCUMENT. I PURCHASED THIS CAR NEW THE SUMMER OF 2015. WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH VEHICLE WOULD NOT SHIFT, TRANSMISSION LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON DASHBOARD AND TWO MESSAGES STATED PERFORMANCE SHIFTING WAS UNAVAILABLE, SERVICE TRANSMISSION MESSAGE CAME ACROSS SCREEN. VEHICLE DISPLAYED 4TH GEAR AT ALL TIMES, PLACED IT IN PARK, WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF PARK AT FIRST, EVENTUALLY CAME OUT OF PARK AND WAS STILL DISPLAYING 4TH GEAR. ARMORY CHRYSLER DEALER IN UPSTATE NY STATED IT WAS ACTUALLY STUCK IN 2ND GEAR, THEY STATED THERE WERE STORED CODES, BUT WERE UNABLE TO TELL ME WHAT THEY WERE. AT THIS POINT THEY ARE UNABLE TO REPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND STATED THAT BECAUSE IT WAS INTERMITTENT THAT IT WAS PROBABLY ELECTRICAL. STILL WAITING FOR DIAGNOSTICS FROM ARMORY CHRYSLER DEALER

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CONTROL UNIT WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MECHANIC INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V470000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AND SUGGESTED THAT SHE TOW THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL DEALER. THE CONTACT TOWED THE VEHICLE TO LITHIA CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM OF BRYAN COLLEGE STATION (301 N EARL RUDDER FWY, BRYAN, TX 77802, 979-213-5361) WHERE THEY PERFORMED THEIR OWN DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000.
