THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT AS WELL AS CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WITH NO PRIOR ISSUES, JUST OUT OF THE BLUE. THE CAR SHAKES WHEN DRIVING. IT HAPPENED 6PM LAST NIGHT, NO ISSUES BEFOREHAND. ITS PARKED OUT FRONT ON THE STREET WHERE I LIVE.
NOT SURE WHAT'S WRONG. I'VE FIXED THINGS ALREADY LIKE MASS FLOW SENSOR, AIR FILTER, MOTOR MOUNTS A VALVE LEAK. CARS BEEN IN AND OUT OF THE MECHANICS FOR MONTHS. CARS ENGINE SHUT OFF 2-3 TIMES WHILE DRIVING WITH MY DAUGHTER IN THE CAR!!!!!. ANOTHER TIME IT TURNED OFF RIGHT AFTER I STARTED IT UP. THE CAR IS UNSAFE!!!!!! I'VE HAD IT HAD 2-3 DIFFERENT MECHANICS. AND THE CHEVY DEALERSHIP. THE CAR NEVER TURNS OFF FOR ANYONE BUT ME. THIS PAST WEEKEND I WAS ATTEMPTING TO PICK UP MY CAR FROM ONE SHOP TO TAKE TO ANOTHER AND IT WOULDN'T START. THIS SHOP HAD THE CAR FOR A WEEK AND A HALF AND IT NEVER TURNED OFF UNTIL I WENT TO PICK IT UP. NOW THEY STILL CAN'T FIND WHAT'S CAUSING THE PROBLEM. I'VE SPENT 2 GRAND IN LABOR AND TOWS IN JUST THE LAST 3-4 MONTHS. I CAN'T KEEP DOING...
FAULTY PARTS HAVE CAUSED ISSUES WITH THE ENGINE, SUCH AS CONSTANT ENGINE TICKING, AND SQUEAKING WHEN SLOWING DOWN AND BELOW 1300RPM. BOTH OF THESE PROBLEMS I BELIEVE ARE CAUSING THE ENGINE TO HAVE POWER LOSS AND ULTIMATELY MAKE THIS VEHICLE LESS POWERFUL AND BECOME UNDEPENDABLE. BEYOND THOSE PROBLEMS I CONSISTENTLY GET WARNINGS ABOUT THE TRACTION CONTROL AND STABILITRAK. I AM DOING WHAT I CAN TO FIX THIS THING BUT BELIEVE IT SHOULD NOT HAVE LEFT THE FACTORY. *TR
IT LOOSES POWER. ALL DASH LIGHTS FLASH ON AND OFF WHILE DRIVING, THE RADIO TURNS ON AND OFF AND THE CAR LOOSES POWER STEERING WHILE DRIVING (THIS IS MAJOR AND I'VE HAD A FEW SCARY MOMENTS WHILE TURNING). AT TIMES THE KEY WILL GET STUCK IN THE IGNITION AND IT WILL NOT START. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE KEY OUT IS TO POP THE HOOD AND JIGGLE THE BATTERY CABLE, IT WILL THEN RELEASE THE KEY. ALL THESE ISSUES HAPPEN DAILY. I HAVE NO WARNING LIGHTS THAT STAY ON CONSISTENTLY.*DT*JB

WARNING LIGHT COMES ON SAY STEERING AND TRACTION LIGHT AND SAID SERVICE STEERING AND MY ENGINE COME ON CODE WAS O2 AND 01 I HAD ALOT PROBLEMS WITH SENSOR THE CAR WAS IN REPAIR SHOP 11 TIME THE FIRST 3 YEAR I MAKE COMPLAINTS TRY TO GET NEW CAR FROM GM THEY SAID NO
MY STABILY TRACK LIGHTS ARE ON DURING MOTION
WITH THIS CONDITION,THE RADIO/HVAC DISPLAY TURNS OFF AND ON; THE ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM, SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM, SERVICE STABILITRAC AND STEERING VEHICLE MESSAGES MAY COME ON AND OFF; THE TURN SIGNAL SOUND MAY NOT BE HEARD; 'BATTERY SAVER ACTIVE' AND 'SERVICE STEERING' WERE DISPLAYED IN THE DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER (DIC); AND THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR LIGHTING FLICKERED. RECENTLY POWER STEERING ASSIST WAS ALSO LOST, AND GREATER EFFORT MAY BE NEEDED TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AT LOW SPEEDS OR WHILE THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN A 45MPH ROAD AND THE VEHICLE FELT LIKE IT WAS HESITATING TO ACCELERATE. THE RPM'S WENT UP TO 6000 AND THE SERVICE STABILTRAK MESAGE CAME UP. THE ENGINE FELT SHAKY AND I DIDN'T HAVE ANY HEAT. I TOOK THE CAR IMMEDIATELY TO MY MECHANIC AND THEY SAID THE COIL PACK AND PLUGS WERE BAD AND REPAIRED THEM.
EVER SINCE OWNING THE CRUZE, WE'VE HAD NOTHING BUT ENGINE ISSUES. FIRST THE TURBO WENT OUT A MONTH AFTER PURCHASING THE CAR. TWO THERMOSTATS AND A COMPLETE OIL FLUSH. THE ENGINE BLEW AT 104,023 MILES. THE CAR WAS FLASHING ENGINE LIGHT AND STABILTRACT LIGHT. THE CAR SINCE OWNING HAS MADE A VERY LOUD TICKING NOISE. THE CAR ALSO HAD A HARD TIME MAINTAINING SPEED. ACCELERATION AND DECELERATION. THIS HAPPENED ANY TIME THE VEHICLE SPEED WAS OVER 30MPH.
WHEN DRIVING THE CAR FLICKERS THE RADIO IN AND OUT AND THEN THE RADIO GOS COMPLETELY OUT AND SERVICE STABILITY TRACKER AND SERVICE SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL POPS UP OR THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS AND SERVICE POWER STEERING POPS UP AND THE CAR SHUT OFF RIGHT THEN AND THERE.
EVERYTHING ON THE DASH SHUT OFF. HEAT AND AIR SHUT OFF. SERVICE STABILITY TRACK WARNING COMES ON. ENGINE FAN RUNNING ALL THE TIME. STEERING LOCKS.
THE PAGE PREVIOUS TO THIS ONE WOULD NOT LET MY CHECK EVERY BOX (3 MAX), THE OTHER THINGS I WOULD HAVE CHECKED THAT WERE AFFECTED ARE -LIGHTING -SPEED CONTROL -STEERING -WIPER -TRACTION PICTURES SHOW THESE TWO SIGNALS THAT POP UP "SERVICE STABILITRAK" AND "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL". WHILST IM DRIVING SOME COME THINGS START TO HAPPEN; THE RADIO/ DASH STEREO WILL FLICKER ON AND OFF- ALL NOISE STOPS (ANY MUSIC OR BLINKERS), THE HEATER/ AC WIL STOP BLOWING IF IT IS ON. SOMETIMES WHEN THIS HAPPENS MY POWER STEERING WILL ALSO GO OUT, JERKING THE STEERING WHEEL WHILE IM DRIVING, AND HAPPENS ALOT WHEN IM TURNING (VERY SCARY). THE DASH WILL ALSO FLICKER WITH ABS, BRAKE, TRACTION, LIGHTS. SOME DAYS IT WILL HAPPEN VERY FREQUENTLY ,OTHER DAYS IT WILL ONLY HAPPEN A COUPLE TIMES. I AM UNCERTAIN WHAT I AM DOING THAT IS MAKING IT ACT THIS WAY. WHEN I AM...
WE HAVE PUT OVER 3,000 DOLLARS IN THIS CAR AND ONLY HAD IT A YEAR AND HALF. EVERY TIME WE FIX A PROBLEM SOMEONE ELSE IMMEDIATELY GOES WRONG. WE ARE CURRENTLY ON THE 3RD TURBO, REPLACED COILPACK FOR A MISFIRE, REPLACED PLUGS, PVC VALVE AND COVER, DIFFERENT HOES TO THE ENGINE, SENSORS. IT HAS 110,000 MILES ON IT. ITS MY DAILY DRIVE TO WORK AND ITS BEEN BROKE DOWN HALF THE TIME IVE OWNED IT.
STABILTRAK WARNING COMES ON AND MAKES CAR RUN HORRIBLE. HAD TO REPLACE TURBO TWICE NOW ONLY HAS 109,000 MILES. AIRBAG LIGHT STAYS ON. THE CAR HAS ALWAYS TICKED BAD. CAR ALMOST CAUGHT FIRE FROM A SENSOR. IT MELTED IT IN HALF.
WHEN IDLING THE VEHICLE WILL HAVE SMALL FLUCTUATIONS IN RPM THAT MAKE THE CAR FEEL LIKE IT WILL STALL. WHILE DRIVING THE WARNING SIGNS OF "SERVICE STABILI TRAK" AND "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL" AS WELL AS THE ENGINE LIGHT COME ONTO THE DISPLAY ON THE DASH. "BATTERY SAVER MODE" HAS ALSO APPEARED BEFORE. ONCE ALL OF THE CAR LIGHTS AS WELL AS THE RADIO AND OTHER ELECTRONIC PORTIONS OF THE VEHICLE ALL SHUT OFF WHEN THIS HAPPENED INCLUDING POWER STEERING ABILITY. HAVE HAD THE ALTERNATOR AS WELL AS THE ENGINE REPLACED AT MENIKIEE AND THE ISSUE IS STILL PERSISTING.
FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW, I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE RADIO AND DASH LIGHTS WILL SUDDENLY CUT OFF, AND THEN COME BACK ON. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE INSPECTED BUT NO ISSUE WAS FOUND. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO NARROW DOWN WHAT TRIGGERS THE ISSUE TO OCCUR, IT WILL HAPPEN AT RANDOM TIMES. THERE IS NO WAY TO REPLICATE THE EVENT WITHOUT JUST BEING IN THE CAR WHEN IT HAPPENS. JUST IN THE LAST 30 MINUTES IT OCCURRED: 1. WHILE ACCELERATING TO 40 MPH; 2. WHILE BREAKING TO COME TO A STOP SIGN; 3. MAINTAINING CONTINUOUS SPEED AT 30 MPH; 4. WHILE STATIONARY, ROLLING UP MY POWER WINDOW; 5. AND, WHILE STATIONARY, FOOT ON BREAK PLACING THE VEHICLE IN PARK. THE RANDOMNESS OF THESE OCCURRENCES AND THE FACT THAT THERE ARE NO SENOR WARNINGS/CODES TO NOTIFY THE DEALERSHIP CONCERNS ME. DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF COMMUTE, A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS...
WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START MY VEHICLE IT WILL NOT TURN OVER. THEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHES ON AND OFF. THE DISPLAY THEN READS SERVICE THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM. SERVICE TIRE MONITORING AND WILL THEN COMPLETELY LOCK UP. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME ROUGHLY 4 TIMES IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE CAR TO START IS WITH A JUMP. THE BATTERY, STARTER AND ALTERNATOR ARE ALL GOOD AND ARE NOT CAUSING THE ISSUE.
I'VE HAD MY 2014 CHEVY CRUZE FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS NOW. BACK IN DECEMBER 2018 IT STARTED HAVING A LOT OF ISSUES. ANTIFREEZE WAS POURING OUT, IT WAS SPITTING AND SPUTTERING, ROUGH IDLE,AND OVERHEATING, MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH CHEVY DEALERSHIP. THEY HAD MY CAR ABOUT A WEEK. THE SAID WATER PUMP WAS FAILING,THERMOSTAT WAS OUT, COOLER OUTLET HOSES NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. NOT EVEN 12 HOURS LATER I WAS TAKING IT BACK IN FOR THE SAME PROBLEMS. ENGINE LIGHTS WERE STILL COMING ON. THIS TIME THEY FIXED THE OIL COOLER LINE, AND CRANKSHAFT. A FEW DAYS PASSED AND AGAIN I WAS STILL HAVING THE SAME ISSUES. TOOK IT BACK, AND THEY FIXED THE CRANKCASE VENTALATION, CAMSHAFT COVER, INTAKE MANIFOLDINTAKE AIR PRESSURE SENSOR. MAYBE 2 WEEKS PASSED AND I FINALLY GOT UPSET AND TOOK IT 45 MINS TO ANOTHER SHOP, WITHIN A FEW HOURS I GOT A CALL THAT MY HEAD...
I WILL BE DRIVING WHEN ALL OF THE LIGHTS ON MY DASH START GOING ON AND OFF , POWER SERVICE TRACK SHOWS UP, MY RADIO WILL SHUT OFF AND IT BECOMES A BLACK SCREEN. I WILL BE DRIVING OR STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT OR TURNING AND THE CAR WILL ACTUALLY COMPLETELY TURN OFF AND START COASTING. IF I AM AT A STOP LIGHT I WILL THAN HAVE TO PUT THE CAR INTO PARK AND THEN TURN THE KEY TO START THE ENGINE AGAIN. I HAVE HAD TO JUMP MY CAR NUMEROUS TIME TO WHERE I KEEP A PORTABLE JUMP IN MY CAR. MY KEY WILL GET LOCKED IN THE IGNITION AND I HAVE TO STICK A WRENCH UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL TO GET IT OUT. I HAVE REPLACED MY ALTERNATOR AND MY BATTERY WAS SO SWOLLEN I HAD TO REPLACE THAT AS WELL. THE WIRING WAS REPLACED TO CONNECT...
WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE SUDDENLY STOPPED AND MESSAGES APPEARED ON DASH ABOUT SERVICING AIR BAG AND POWER STEERING. VERY DANGEROUS AS CAR WAS MOVING 45 MPH AND HAD TO MOVE TO SHOULDER. TOWED TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT WAS NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE. HAPPENED AGAIN - TOWED IT BACK TO DEALER AND WAS TOLD IT WAS POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE.
MY VEHICLE HAS BEEN HAVING ISSUES WHERE IT WILL TAKE EXTRA TIME TO GET IT STARTED UP. WHEN I FINALLY DO GET IT STARTED, WARNING LIGHTS FLASH SAYING POWER STEERING SYSTEM, THE ANTITHEFT STAYS ON, AS WELL AS THE ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT. I JUST HAD MY CAR SERVICED NOT TOO LONG AGO FOR A COOLANT LEAK ON THE ENGINE HOSE. I HAVE ALWAYS KEPT UP WITH OIL CHANGES AS WELL AS ALL OTHER FLUID LEVELS CHECKED REGULARLY. I FIRST BEGAN THINKING IT WAS THE BATTERY, HOWEVER I HAVE HAD THE BATTERY TESTED AND IT IS STILL BASICALLY NEW.
I TOOK MY 2014 CHEVY CRUZE LTZ TO THE CHEVROLET DEALERS IN 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS ABOUT 2 YEARS APART. THE SAME ISSUE PERSISTS. I GET ALL THE ELECTRIC SYSTEMS TO START BLINKING AND TURNING OFF AND ON FOR A MINUTE AND A MESSAGE APPEARS SAYING "SERVICE STABILITY CONTROL". THE POWER STEERING GOES OFF, AND THE BREAKS AND THE CAR KEEPS RUNNING SO IT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE. IT CAUSED THE CAR BATTERY TO BE DAMAGED BECAUSE THE SULFURIC ACID EVAPORATED AND MADE THE CAR STINK SO MUCH LIKE ROTTEN EGGS. I TOOK IT IT UNDER WARRANTY THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT (I TESTED THE BATTERY INDEPENDENTLY AND IT WAS PERFECT-SO IT WAS THE ALTERNATOR), I TOOK IT AGAIN AFTER WARRANTY EXPIRED AND STILL THEY JUST REPLACED THE (REPLACEMENT) BATTERY AGAIN BUT I MIGHT BE RISKING MY LIFE BY DRIVING THIS CAR WHICH HAS THE "STABILITY" ERROR AT RANDOM TIMES FOR...

I HAD THE CAR FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS AND SOME WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED. NOW I'M EXPERIENCING LOTS OF PROBLEMS. FIRST IT WAS COOLANT LEAK, RADIATOR, WATER PUMP, THERMOSTAT AND NOW THE HEAD GASKET ARE OUT CALLED DEALERSHIP & GM AND THEY SAY THE CAN'T DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. THE STEERING WHEEL STICKS WHEN I AM DRIVING. IT'S EXTREMELY NOTICEABLE WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY OR MAKING TURNS. THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM COMES ON AND OFF WHEN THE VEHICLE IS OPERATIONAL. ALL OF A SUDDEN MY RADIO WILL GO ON AND OFF AND THE AIR CONDITIONER AND THE HEATER WILL STOP WORKING. STABILITRAK VENDOR KEEPS COMING ON. WHEN I'M DRIVING AND MAKE A TURN, MY CAR SEEMS AS IF IT'S GLIDING. MY BREAKS SKIP, ESPECIALLY WHEN HITTING A BUMP AND THEY ACT AS IF THEY DON'T WANT TO STOP. MY CAR CUTS ON AND OFF IN TRAFFIC, I'VE ALMOST DIED SEVERAL TIMES WHILE TURNNING. COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF, STEERING WHEEL LOCKS UP AND ALL. MY CAR IS NOW WRECKED DUE TO THESE DEFECTS. VEHICLE IS EXPERIENCING SEVERE ISSUES WITH THE POWER WHEN VEHICLE IS IN MOTION. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS I HAVE BEEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THE VEHICLE WILL ALL OF A SUDDEN, WITHOUT WARNING SHUT DOWN MULTIPLE ESSENTIAL COMPONENTS - INCLUDING POWER STEERING, HEADLIGHTS, RADIO WILL GO IN AND OUT, DISPLAY SCREEN WILL GO OFF, TURN SIGNALS, ETC. PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING THAT TAKES POWER WILL FAIL. HOWEVER THE VEHICLE WILL STILL REMAIN ON (AND NOT IN AUX MODE) AND ACCELERATION WILL NOT BE AFFECTED. AROUND THE TIME THAT THESE ISSUES BEGAN A WARNING LIGHT FOR STABILITRACK CAME ON THE DASH BOARD AND SEVERAL MORE WARNING LIGHTS HAVE COME ON SINCE. THIS HAS OCCURRED WHEN VEHICLE HAS BEEN ON CITY STREETS AND FREEWAY INCLUDING AS I HAVE BEEN NEGATING A TURN. THIS HAS CAUSED AN EXTREME SAFETY HAZARD AS I HAVE ALMOST LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE AND RUN OFF THE ROAD OR...

I WAS IN MOTION / DRIVING MAKING A RIGHT TURN ON A CITY STREET, USED MY TURN INDICATOR AND THE RADIO SHUT OFF AS WELL AS THE DASHBOARD FLASHED THE TRACTION CONTROL ALERT. I HAVE NOT HAD THIS SITUATION HAPPEN BEFORE BUT IT IS VERY CONCERNING.
UNFORTUNATELY, THIS IS THE 3RD TIME THAT MY 2014 CHEVY CRUZE HAS THIS ISSUE. MY ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON WHILE THE STABILOCK SERVICE FLASHES ON THE DASHBOARD; CAR JERKS WHILE EITHER IDLE AND/OR STOPPED; A LOUD SQUEAKING NOISE FROM UNDER THE HOOD (ALL THESE ISSUES ALWAYS START AT THE SAME TIME!!). I HAVE TAKEN MY CAR TO CHEVY DEALERSHIPS AND THEY HAVE (SUPPOSEDLY) REPLACED THE SAME PART - SHAM COVER (ACCORDING TO MY INVOICES). I TOTALLY DON'T GET WHY THIS IS A NOT A RECALL ISSUE. CAR WAS STOLEN LEFT FRONT END WAS DAMAGE. PAID 2500 FOR REPAIR. PICK UP CAR 07/27/2018. THE WAS IN THE SHOP 03/2018. THEY THE CAR BACK TO ME NO AIR BAGS. NO FRONT FOR COVER ON THE STERRING WHEEL. THEY WANT TO PAY ANOTHER 279.00 FOR AIR BAGS. NOW THEIR A SOUND COMING FROM UNDER THE CAR. I JUST DON'T HAVE EXTRA MONEY INSURANCE DID PAY OFF BECAUSE I WAS NOT DRIVING THE CAR.
