NHTSA Complaint #11682885 — 2022 FORD EDGE

The contact owns a 2022 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while shifted into reverse(R), the image on the display screen was black. The contact stated that no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure was intermittent. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V315000 (Back Over Prevention); however, after contacting the dealer and the manufacturer, the contact was informed that the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 27,000.
