NHTSA Complaint #11588504 — 2020 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated while the vehicle was in reverse(R), the back over prevention camera displayed a fuzzy, distorted image, which caused a visibility hazard for the driver. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer where three different error codes showed a defect with the backup camera. The contact was then informed by the dealer that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V575000 (Back Over Prevention). The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was provided a case number. The contact was then referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 46,000.
