NHTSA Complaint #11665857 — 2020 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated when the vehicle was shifted into reverse(R), the back over prevention camera failed to operate as needed. The contact stated that occasionally the image was frozen, or the screen was blue. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed and was not repaired. The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V575000 (Visibility, Back Over Prevention); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.
