NHTSA Complaint #11606773 — 2020 FORD F-150

The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the back-up camera failed to operate as needed. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure first started as a distorted image on the screen; however, over time, the screen would appear completely blank. The dealer was notified about the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V575000 (Visibility, Back Over Prevention); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
