NHTSA Complaint #11529155 — 2017 FORD EDGE

2017 Ford Edge SE, one owner vehicle, clean title, always maintained properly. The vehicle ran rough after startup and seemed to be lacking power during acceleration. A malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) did not display at that time. Recently, the vehicle has been running worse, blowing white exhaust smoke, especially after sitting overnight, and consuming coolant. The MIL finally displayed the morning of June 10th, 2023. The code is P0303. The vehicle has been diagnosed with a coolant intrusion issue on cylinder number three.
