On [XXX] I purchased a 2006 Honda Odyssey from DFW cash cars LLC 325 N RIVERSIDE DRIVE fort Worth Texas and the dealer gdn is p167677 the VIN number for the vehicle is [XXX] WHEN I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE I NOTICED IT WAS MAKING A NOISE FROM THE ENGINE SO I TOOK IT BACK TO THEM AND THEY SAID EVEN WITH THE WARRANTY I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE IF THERE WAS A WARRANTY BUT THEY INFORMED ME THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO BECAUSE THE CAR IS ALREADY IN MY NAME THE SECOND DAY I CALLED THEM TEXT HIM AND GO BACK UP THERE BECAUSE NOW MY ENGINE WAS SPITTING OUT THICK WHITE SMOKE FROM UNDER THE HOOD ONLY WHEN I WAS IDLING THEN A WEEK LATER I PARKED MY VEHICLE AT THE STORE TRY TO LEAVE THE STORE AND IT TOOK ME 2 HOURS BECAUSE MY GEAR...

MY CAR WAS PARKED IN THE FRONT THE HOUSE AND ITS JUST CAUGHT FIRE WE CALLED THE EMERGENCY AND THE FIRE TRUCK THE MAKE REPORT BUT THE POLICE DIDN'T MAKE ANY REPORT
MY ENGINE EXPLODED ON SATURDAY DEC 12 ABOUT 10 OCLOCK WHEN WE TURNED THE IGNITION TO START THE 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY.
WHEN DRIVING THE CAR IT MAKES A WEIRD SOUND WHILE I WAIT IN A RED OR STOP SIGN THEN FEELS LIKE THE VAN GOES BACKWARDS. IF I TRY TO TURN ON THE ENGINE IT'S REALLY HARD I TRY TO DRIVE OR REVERSE THE THE VAN STARTS SHAKING AND THE ENGINE TURNS OFF.
ENGINE OIL LEAK, WHEN I STEP DEEP INTO THE BRAKE THE STEERING WHEEL SHAKES. THE VGA ALERT APPEARS.
ODYSSEY 2006 3.5 HAS TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. TORQUE CONVERTER NEEDS REPLACING. WHEN DRIVING THERE IS HARDLY ANY ACCELERATION WHEN YOU APPLY GAS. CATALYTIC CONVERTER AND GASKETS ARE FAULTY. IGNITION COIL NEEDS REPLACING BEFORE ITS TIME. AND THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH PURGE VALVE THAT MIXES THE FUEL WHILE DRIVING.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS AND WHEN PARKED ON AN INCLINE, THE CONTACT DETECTED AN ABNORMAL ODOR OF FUEL EMERGING FROM THE SECOND ROW SEATS. ADDITIONALLY, THERE WAS FUEL LEAKING FROM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT CALLED PARKER JOHNSTONE'S WILSONVILLE HONDA (30600 SW PARKWAY AVE, WILSONVILLE, OR 97070, (503) 985-6958), BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 125,000.
I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE POWER STEERING FREEZING UP ON SLOW TURNS AND THE TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH IS STUCK MAKING THE CAR TRANSMISSION HEAT UP AND QUIT UNTIL IT COOLS DOWN, I WAS STUCK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD 4X FOR THIS. ONCE WITH MY 97 YR OLD BROTHER IN LAW AND 79 YR OLD SISTER.THEY WANT $4000 TO FIX THIS. THE DRIVER SIDE SLIDING DOOR CABLE BROKE ALSO.I HAD THE RUN FLAT PAX TIRES ON IT WHEN IT WAS PURCHASED, I WAS NOT TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO DRIVE AT LEAST 100 TO 200 MILES TO GET THEM CHANGED OUT AS THEY NEED A SPECIAL MACHINE TO FIX THEM. I HAD TO BUY NEW RIMS AND TIRES FOR $1500. I HAVE 125,000 MILES ON THE CAR. I WILL NEVER BUY OR RECOMMEND A HONDA TO ANYONE.
I WAS DRIVING FINE, ALL OF A SUDDEN, THE ENGINE JUST COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN AND THERE WAS NO POWER. TURN ON AGAIN, IT WORKED. DRIVE FOR 2 MILES, IT TOTALLY SHUP DOWN AGAIN. NO POWER, NOTHING.
I HAD ALL MOTOR MOUNTS REPLACED APRIL OF LAST YEAR AND NOW IN FEBRUARY OF 2019 I HAD REPLACE THE BACK MOTOR MOUNT AGAIN. NOW I HAVE YET ANOTHER MOTOR MOUNT GOING BAD. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. THE 06 HONDA ODESSEY NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. EVEN MY MECHANIC SAID THAT HE SEES THIS ALL THE TIME WITH THE 06 ODESSEYS

HORRIBLE VIBRATION IN ECO MODE DUE TO VCM (3 CYLINDERS SHUTTING DOWN) AT ALL SPEEDS. NOTICED VIBRATION WHEN SPEED EXCEEDS 50 MPH. HONDA DEALER NOTED THIS IS MOST LIKELY DUE TO EOO MODE BUT VIBRATION IS TOO MUCH TO BE NORMAL. VIBRATION INCREASES IN INTENSITY WHEN ACCELERATING ABOVE 50 MPH. 5 SERVICE INSPECTIONS AND MASTER TECHNICIANS CANNOT DIAGNOSE PROBLEM(S)YET. ENGINE MOUNT FAILURE NOTED BY OTHER OWNERS DESCRIBE THE PROBLEM PRECISELY.
DEALER STATES FRONT ENGINE MOUNT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AFTER ONLY 74,000 MILES. "MOTOR MOUNT - FRONT: WORN OUT" IS THE EXACT STATEMENT. A SIMPLE WEB SEARCH YIELDS NUMEROUS REFERENCES TO BROKEN OR WORN OUT MOTOR MOUNTS ON HONDA VEHICLES WITH 6 CYLINDER ENGINES. AT WHAT POINT DOES THE NHTSA TAKE NOTICE? WHEN DOES HONDA TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS ISSUE?
IN MOTION THE ENGINE WAS MAKING A LOUD RATTLE AS IF SOMETHING WAS HITTING THE VEHICLE'S FAN. TURNS OUT IT IS THE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. BECAUSE THERE IS A TSB OUT MY EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY IS REFUSING TO COVER THIS REPAIR THAT RUNS OVER $3K.

ENGINE MOUNT FAILURE: 3 MOTOR MOUNTS HAVE FAILED . THE CAR MECHANIC SAYS HE ONLY CHANGES MOTOR MOUNTS ON ODYSSEYS AND NO OTHER CAR HAS SAME ISSUE WITH THE MOUNTS. I GOOGLED MOTOR MOUNT FAILURE AND IT IS QUITE A LOT OF COMPLAINT S AND I'M WONDERING IF THE ODYSSEY HAS SO MANY ISSUE WITH MOTOR MOUNTS WHY HAVE THEY NOT BEEN RECALLED. IF NOT FIXED THERE ARE CATASTROPHIC ISSUES AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF LIFE. I LIKE MY CAR, FOR THE MOST PART BUT IT SEEMS TO HAVE MANY ISSUES , SOME RECALLED. IT'S FRUSTRATING AND COSTLY.
THE FLUID FILLED MOTOR MOUNTS THAT COME ON THE EXL/TOURING MODEL HAVE BOTH FAILED AND FLUID LEAKED OUT. THE CONCEPT BEHIND THESE ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED MOTOR MOUNTS IS TO DAMPEN THE VIBRATION WHEN THE VAN GOES INTO ECO MODE REDUCING THE ACTIVE CYLINDERS FROM 6 TO 3. WHEN THESE MOUNTS FAIL THE VAN VIBRATES CONSIDERABLY IN THE ECO MODE. I GOOGLED THE ISSUES AND SEE THAT THEIR ARE MANY OTHERS WITH THIS SAME ISSUE FROM YEAR 2005 -2007 AT ALL DIFFERENT LEVELS OF MILEAGE. THE COST OF REPAIR THROUGH HONDA IS OVER $1800. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A RUN ON MOTOR MOUNTS AS I HAVE WHEN TRYING TO RESEARCH THE ISSUE WHICH MAKES ME THING THERE IS A ENGINEERING/DESIGN FLAW. LEFT UN-REPAIRED AND HONDA TOLD ME THAT THE VIBRATION CAN CAUSE MANY OTHER ISSUES RENDERING THE VAN UNSAFE TO DRIVE.
THE SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT OF THE CYLINDER HEAD WHILE DRIVING ON A MAJOR 8 LANE HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH. IF I DIDN'T REACT QUICKLY & THERE WAS A CAR TO THE RIGHT OF ME, I VERY EASILY COULD'VE BEEN IN A DANGEROUS ACCIDENT. UNSURE IF THERE WAS ANY ENGINE DAMAGE.
WHILE STOPPED IN TRAFFIC, ENGINE BEGAN HARD ACCELERATION AND FRONT TIRES BEGAN SCREECHING. THIS OCCURRED 4X WITHIN 10 DAYS. WITH EACH EXPERIENCE THERE WAS NO WARNING. IT WAS FORTUNATE THAT FOOT WAS ON BRAKE PEDAL AT THAT TIME.
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY AND APPROACHING SPEEDS BETWEEN 45MPH TO 65MPH THE ENTIRE CAR STARTED TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY, AS IF THE CAR WAS GOING TO FALL APART. I IMMEDIATELY BROUGHT IT TO AN INDEPENDENT DEALER AND I WAS INFORMED THE ENGINE MOTOR MOUNTS WERE FAILING.
WHEN WE WERE TRAVELING OUT WEST, WE STARTED TO NOTICE A DISTINCT "WHINE" IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. AFTER RETURNING HOME AND HAVING DRIVEN THOUSANDS OF MILES, WE TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR MOTOR MOUNT HAD BROKEN AND WAS CAUSING THE FAN TO MAKE A NOISE WHEN THE ENGINE ITSELF "HEAVED" UPON ACCELERATING. IT COST $1100 FOR THE REPAIR. I AM FILING THIS COMPLAINT BECAUSE THERE ARE SEVERAL SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ON HERE, AND THERE PROBABLY SHOULD BE A RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY INJURED.
I WAS DRIVING ABOUT 60 MPH ON A HIGHWAY WHEN MY 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY BEGAN SHAKING AND VIBRATING. THE SHAKING WAS SO BAD THE REARVIEW MIRROR BECAME LOOSE AND EVENTUALLY FELL OFF THE FRONT WINDOW. IF I WOULD HAVE HAD A COFFEE CUP SITTING IN THE BEVERAGE HOLDER THE REARVIEW MIRROR WOULD HAVE SPLASHED HOT COFFEE ON MY SHORTS AND DOWN MY LEG. THIS SAME SITUATION WOULD OCCUR IF I WOULD HAVE HAD A TOLL-ROAD TRANSPONDER ATTACHED TO THE WINDSHIELD JUST BELOW THE REARVIEW MIRROR. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME AN ENGINE MOUNT HAS FAILED ON MY HONDA ODYSSEY. I PAID $1,706.13 TO REPLACE A FAILED ENGINE MOUNT ON AUGUST 6, 2014.
ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS THE CAR WOULD JERK VIOLENTLY WHEN DECELERATING FROM 20 TO 10MPH. IN ADDITION, WHEN DRIVING FROM 25 TO 40MPH THE CAR WOULD SHAKE VIOLENTLY S IF WAS GOING TO EXPLODE. NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS WAS VERY UNNERVING AND I DID NOT FEEL SAFE WITH MY FAMILY IN THIS CAR. I TOOK IT TO THE HONDA DEALER AND WAS TOLD MY REAR AND FRONT MOTOR MOUNTS WERE CRACKED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AT THE TIME THE CAR ONLY HAD 80K MILRES ON IT. TOTAL COST WAS OVER $1,200. OW, AT 170K MILES IT IS DOING THE SAME THING! BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY'RE TELLING ME MY MOTOR MOUNTS ARE CRACKED, AGAIN! I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED THE NHTSA HAS NOT MADE THIS A RECALL.

IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V112000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
BROKEN ENGINE MOUNT. BECAUSE OF THAT THE CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE WITH FAMILY. I HAVE SEEN MOST OF HONDA ODYSSEY ARE EXPERIENCING SAME PROBLEM AND MANUFACTURE ARE NOT FIXING THIS ISSUE.
LOUD CLUNKING SOUND COMING FROM UNDER THE DRIVERS ENGINE SIDE - HAD CAR CHECKED AND MECHANIC REPLACED MOTOR MOUNTS, BUT STILL MAKING SAME NOISE - ALMOST SOUNDS LIKE ENGINE WILL DROP OUT AT ANY MOMENT. ALSO WHEN TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY AT SPEEDS OF 55 OR HIGHER, VAN WILL SHAKE UNCONTROLLABLY AND ALSO RANDOMLY AT LOW SPEEDS WHEN JUST STARTING FROM A COMPLETE STOP. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE WITH MY CHILDREN IN THE VAN UNDER THESE CONDITIONS, FROM READING COMPLAINTS, IT DEFINITELY SOUNDS LIKE HONDA SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MALFUNCTION.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE REAR ENGINE MOUNTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WAS A BLOWN HEAD GASKET. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE YAW RATE SENSOR FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,001.

AFTER HONDA HAVING THE CAR FOR 31 DAYS THE INSURANCE PAID THE REPAIRS & I PAID MY $500.00 DEDUCTIBLE. I'M READY TO DRIVE MY HONDA ODYSSEY AWAY ON 11/13/14, AND I NOTICE THE VAN BEGAN TO SHAKE VIOLENTLY AND THE RPM'S DROPPED TO ALMOST 0. NO REPORT WAS GIVEN TO ME ABOUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH VAN & WHAT FUTURE REPAIRS HAD TO BE DONE. ALL I GOT WAS THE PRESENT REPAIRS DUE TO THE FIRE, EVEN AFTER WE HAD ASKED THEM TO DO A FULL INSPECTION OF THE VEHICLE. PRIOR TO THE FIRE THE VAN NEVER SHOOK, IT NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE. WHILE THERE, THEY PERFORMED THE CHANGING OF THE FUEL PUMP WHICH HAD BEEN RECALLED BY HONDA, BUT NOW WE CAN NOT...
ON 10/10/2014 WHILE DRIVING THE CAR THROUGH AN INTERSECTION GOING 45 MPH THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS AND THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START AND WE NARROWLY AVOIDED AN ACCIDENT WHILE COASTING THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START AGAIN AND WE PUSHED THE VEHICLE INTO A PARKING LOST SPACE. WHILE WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO JUMP THE CAR THE VEHICLE START AGAIN. AGAIN ON 10/11/2014 WHILE TURNING INTO A SHOPPING CENTER PARKING LOT THE VEHICLE'S ENGINE SHUT OFF WITHOUT WARNING AND WOULD NOT START AGAIN. THIS AGAIN ALMOST RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT. AT THIS TIME WE CONSIDER THIS VEHICLE NO SAFE TO OPERATE IF THE VEHICLE WILL SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING WITHOUT WARNING. MY VAN HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT YET THE REAR ENGINE MOUNT COLLAPSED AND MADE MY ENGINE SHAKE BACK AND FORTH CAUSING A VIBRATION DURING DRIVING. THEY TELL ME THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE OF STOP AND GO DRIVING. I KNOW MANY PEOPLE WHO OWN THESE VANS AND ALL OF THEM HAVE HAD TO HAVE THIS FAULTY PART REPLACED. IT SHOULD BE RECALLED. THE REPAIR COST OVER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS AND IT TOOK THEM LESS THAN 1 1/2 HOURS TO FIX. *TR
ENGINE OF THIS VEHICLE ALWAYS MADE JET ENGINE LIKE LOUD SOUND BUT WITH TIME ENGINE ROAR IS GETTING LOUDER AND LOUDER AT HIGHWAY SPEED ABOVE 65 MPH. IT IS NOW ANNOYING LOUD. DEALER WANTS $140 FOR TELLING US IF THIS NOISE FOR THIS VEHICLE IS NORMAL OR OUR PARTICULAR VEHICLE IS THE ONLY LOUDER ONE. *TR
MY 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY HAS 4 BROKEN MOTOR MOUNTS! EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR. THIS WILL BE THE SECOND TIME THIS VEHICLE GETS 4 NEW MOTOR MOUNTS. *TR
THE CAR WAS LEAKING A BROWNISH-ORANGE LIQUID FROM THE FRONT MIDDLE OF THE ENGINE AREA. THREE OF THE FIVE ENGINE MOUNTS WERE FOUND TO BE BROKEN AND ALL NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED. I WAS TOLD BY THE MECHANIC THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH HONDAS THAT HAVE A V6 ENGINE. IF THIS IS SUCH A WIDE-SPREAD PROBLEM, WHY IS IT NOT FIXED BY HONDA? THIS REALLY GREATLY INCREASED THE COST OF OVERALL HONDA OWNERSHIP. *TR
ENGINE STARTED CHUGGING AND LOST POWER, SPUTTERING. THEN DIED AND COULDN'T RESTART. WAS TOWED TO LOCAL MECHANIC WHO COULD NOT DIAGNOSIS. TOWED TO CLOSEST HONDA DEALER, 3 HOURS AWAY. #5 COIL DAMAGED DUE TO SPARK PLUG BLOWN OUT OF CYLINDER HEAD, THREADS DAMAGED IN CYLINDER HEAD. ALSO VSA WARNING LIGHTS CAME ON AND FAULTY VTEC CONTROL VALVE WAS DISCOVERED. VAN SAT AT DEALER FOR 4 WEEKS WHILE WAITING ON BACK ORDERED VTEC CONTROL VALVE PART. COST OF PARTS, MECHANIC, ETC. $1496.57 NOT TO MENTION THE TOWING. NOW.... VAN BEING DRIVEN LAST WEEK, VSA LIGHT CAME ON, STEERING WHEEL SEIZED UP AND A TERRIBLE NOISE OCCURRED IN ENGINE. WE PURCHASED HONDA ODYSSEY NEW IN 2006. I NOTICED STEERING ISSUES ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AND REPORTED IT DURING ROUTINE SERVICE. EVEN AFTER RECALL, ISSUE CONTINUES. NOTICED A FLUID LEAK & MENTIONED IT DURING SERVICE- WAS TOLD THERE WAS A BROKEN SEAL THAT WAS CAUSING VAN TO LEAK TRANSMISSION FLUID & "FIXED" FOR $1500. AFTER THIS FLUID CONTINUED TO LEAK, MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO TAKE VAN BACK. WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY 2 DAYS BEFORE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT, LIGHTS ON DASH CAME ON AND VAN LOST POWER STEERING WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 55 MPH. ABLE TO GET OFF THE HIGHWAY WITHOUT POWER STEERING. TOWED TO THE HONDA DEALER AND TOLD THE BROKEN SEAL WAS ACTUALLY NOT THE PROBLEM FOR THE TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAK - I NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION. LOST STEERING DUE TO A BELT THAT HAD BROKEN DUE TO CONSTANT LEAKING FLUID ON IT. SO DISAPPOINTED WITH HONDA. HUSBAND HAD MADE ME...
THE 4 MOTOR MOUNTS WITH THE MILEAGE OF 54,365 HAVE FAILED. THERE ARE COUNTLESS COMPLAINTS OF THIS SERIOUS DEFECT FROM HONDA AND IT IS NOT BEING ADDRESSED. I WENT IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND WAS TOLD MY MOTOR MOUNTS NEED TO BE REPLACED! IF I DID NOT NEED AN OIL CHANGED, WOULD MY ENGINE FALL TO THE GROUND. THIS FAILURE SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING ON A VEHICLE WITH 54,000 MILES. WHY IS THIS NOT A SAFETY RECALL INITIATED BY THE NHTSA? *TR
I NOTICED AN OIL LEAK ON THE VEHICLE. WHEN TAKEN TO THE MECHANIC HE FOUND THAT THE SPOOL VALVE IS LEAKING. THE HONDA DEALER INFORMED US THAT THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENT PARTS AVAILABLE. THE OIL IS LEAKING ON THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND IS A VERY POSSIBLE FIRE HAZARD. THIS IS A FAMILY VEHICLE AND THIS ISSUE IS A VERY SERIOUS ONE. *TR
ENGINE VIBRATING VIOLENTLY AT SPEEDS OF 35-40 MPH AND WHEN RPM ARE BETWEEN 1,500 TO 2,000. THE POSSIBLE CAUSES ARE FAULTY ENGINE MOUNTS, TRANSMISSION, OR ENGINE. HONDA REPLACED THE POWER STEERING DUE TO PROBLEMS. I ALSO REPLACED THE RUN FLAT TIRES WITH NON RUN FLAT BECAUSE THE RUN FLAT LAST ONLY 1 YEAR. I WANT TO VIBRATION TO BE RESOLVED. THE VIBRATION APPEARS TO BE A MANUFACTURER DEFECT ACCORDING TO ONLINE HONDA OWNERS GROUPS. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE WIRING OF THE AIR BAGS WAS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED AND AS A RESULT, THE AIR BAGS WOULD NOT DEPLOY PROPERLY IN THE EVENT OF A CRASH. THE CONTACT WAS ALSO ADVISED THAT THE ENGINE VALVES, REAR BRAKES AND THE REAR ENGINE MOUNT WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURE WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000. THE CURRENT VEHICLE MILEAGE WAS 113,000 MILES.
