PURCHASED A NEW 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY EX-L WITH RES AND NAV IN JULY 2006 IN NEW JERSEY (PLANET HONDA). TWICE I NOTICED ON VERY COLD MORNINGS (OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE WAS AROUND 10 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT AT 9:30 AM) THAT AFTER STARTING THE ENGINE THE AIR-BAG INDICATOR LIGHT CAME ON AND WOULD NOT GO AWAY. AFTER DRIVING AROUND FOR 10 MINUTES (WITH THE AIR BAG INDICATOR LIGHT STILL ON) I SWITCHED OFF THE ENGINE AND RESTARTED THE ENGINE AFTER 5 MINUTES. THIS TIME THE AIR-BAG INDICATOR LIGHT DID NOT STAY ON. I BROUGHT THIS PROBLEM TO THE DEALERS ATTENTION. THEY HAD A LOOK AND CONCLUDED THAT THE SIDE IMPACT SENSOR WAS MALFUNCTIONING (PART NUMBER 77970-SHJ-B81). THEY HAVE ORDERED TWO NUMBERS ??? HOW CAN THIS BE ? THIS IS A BRAND NEW MINIVAN WITH ONLY 5000 MILES ON IT AND NO COLLISIONS NOT EVEN THE LEAST MINOR ONES WHAT SO EVER. SEEMS THERE ARE...
