I TOOK IT IN THE FIRST TIME AND WAS TOLD THE CODES DID NOT STORE AND TO KEEP DRIVING IT. I FINALLY GOT A VIDEO OF THE PROBLEM HAPPENING AND DROPPED IT OFF FOR A SECOND TIME. DURING THE PROBLEM ALL GAUGES GO TO ZERO AND THE GEAR SYMBOL DISAPPEARS. THE LAST TIME I DROVE THE CAR IT ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN AND I DID NOT HAVE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. *TR

THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL SOUND WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL WAS TURNED IN EITHER DIRECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO SAME DEALER TO BE INSPECTED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE LUG NUTS ON THE FRONT AND REAR WHEELS WERE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. A CASE WAS FILED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

THE PART THAT WAS NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WAS THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER ASSEMBLY (NUMBER: 13528228). THE COST OF THE PART WAS LESS THAN $150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF ITS INITIAL WARRANTY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 47,500. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. *TR
