Had a windows fall off the motorhome while driving, we did not realize it was missing until we arrived at the next campground . Our 2018 was one of the last 2018 build by ENTEGRA has the same issue as the 2019 recall NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V529000. After the first failure, I checked the other windows and found a second failed window. Having heard rumors for some time of the dreaded DEF shut down while using our motorcoach, without a recall of the unit , we have to assume the coach is safe to use. Ours had been parked in the storage building for about 10 days. Yesterday I went to get it out. When I started the coach it immediately turned on the check engine warning. It threw 3 codes, SPN#3374, SPN#3031, & SPN#1761. I’m told the engine will derate first by 25%, next it debates by 40%, then finally to limp mode of 5 mile per hour. If this had happened the week before I would have had a wife and two dogs, in 95 degree weather with no engine, no air conditioning and about 250 miles from home. When I contacted the manufacturer I was told Parts might be available mid August to September. Fortunately I was at home. There are any number of people being left at the side of the road waiting on a tow truck. We are using what is considered a Gen 6, or a Generation #6, the replacement is to be a Gen7, which seems to have a better reliability but is currently unavailable. The codes have been emailed to the manufacturer and they have had enough experience that they know what the problem is.
