PASSANGER SIDE REAR SLIDING DOOR STARTED MAKEING A BUZZING NOISE WHEN LOCKING AND UNLOCKING. DID SOME RESEARCH ON THE WEB AND FOUND OUT IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THE ACCUATOR TO STICK OR MALFUNCTION, AND NOW THE BUZZING STOPED AND THE LOCK IS STUCK IN THE LOCK POSITION AND WILL NOT MOVE.I FEEL IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE WITH 3 YOUNG CHILDREN IN THE CAR AND GOD FORBID AND ACCIDENT OCCURS I WANT TO GET MY KIDS OUT QUICKLY AND SAFELY.......SO SAY I GET T BONED ON DRIVERS SIDE AND PASSENGER DOOR WON'T UNLOCK OR OPEN..... LOOKS LIKE MY WIFE IS CRAWLING THROUGH THE CENTER WITH 2 CARSEATS OR OUT THE BACK....LET'S GET THIS FIXED BEFORE IT KILLS SOMEONE
I LOADED ALL OF MY CHILDREN IN MY VAN TO GO DO A WALMART PICK UP. ALL OF THE DOORS WERE WORKING FINE. WE GOT HOME FROM DOING OUR PICK UP, AND THE BACK DRIVER SIDE DOOR WOULD NOT OPEN. ALL OF THE CHILDREN HAD TO GET OUT OF THE OTHER SIDE, AND CLIMB OVER A BABY CAR SEAT. WE TRIED TO GET THE DOOR OPEN FROM THE INSIDE, AND THE OUTSIDE, WE TRIED TO DISENGAGE THE LOCKS, BUT IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THEY ARE PERMANENTLY STUCK. IF I GET INTO A WRECK, THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD. SIMULTANEOUSLY, THE DOOR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE IN THE BACK WILL NOT LOCK AT ALL. THESE ARE BOTH HAZARDS WHICH SHOULD BE RECALLED, AND FIXED IMMEDIATELY! I BELIEVE IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, HOWEVER I AM NO MECHANIC. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS HAD THIS...
DRIVER SIDE PASSENGER DOOR WAS LOCKED SHUT. HAD TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE MULTIPLE TIMES TO CORRECT THE ISSUES. THE FIRST TIME THEY DISASSEMBLED THE DOOR AND ONCE ON A WORK BENCH IT WORKED FINE, THEY PUT BACK INTO THE VEHICLE AND 2 DAYS LATER IT WAS BACK TO LOCKED SHUT. BROUGHT IN FOR SERVICE AGAIN AND HAD THE LOCK ACTUATOR REPLACED. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZARD FOR MY CHILDREN WHEN THE DOOR IS NOT OPERATIONAL. THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR IS ALSO MAKING A GRINDING NOISE WHICH WAS SIMILAR TO THE NOISE THE DRIVER SIDE MADE BEFORE IT STOPPED WORKING. IF I HAVE BOTH DOORS NONOPERATIONAL THIS IS AN EXTREMELY BIG SAFETY ISSUE FOR ANYONE RIDING IN THIS VEHICLE. I HAVE SPENT OVER $500 ON THIS ISSUE AND AM WORRIED IT WILL BE AT LEAST AN ADDITIONAL $500 TO FIX THE ISSUES ON THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR ONCE...

I HAD A NEW BATTERY PUT IN KEY FOB BUT THE PROBLEMS CONTINUED. I HAD AAA TEST MY CAR BATTERY AND IT WAS GOOD. 2ND - CLUSTER LIGHTS BEGAN RANDOMLY FLASHING AND DINGING A FEW WEEKS AGO AFTER THE KEY FOB PROBLEMS BEGAN. THIS LAST WEEK OR TWO THE DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER ALSO BEGAN SPINNING UPWARD AND DOWNWARD AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED, RANDOMLY. THESE PROBLEMS HAVE PROGRESSIVELY WORSENED BECOMING MORE FREQUENT AND WITH MORE SYSTEMS FLASHING. ONE RED LIGHT HAS EVEN APPEARED UNDER THE GREEN LETTER N, FOR NEUTRAL. "TAKATA RECALL" I BROUGHT MY 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN SXT, ON 04/17/19 IT HAS 30,000MILE ON IT. PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR LOCKED AGAIN LAST TIME IT HAPPENS 2 MONTHS AGO I SPEND $1200 IT HAPPENS AGAIN
I HAD BEEN HAVING ISSUES WITH THE GAUGES STARTED FLASHING AND GOING CRAZY ON THE 2ND DAY AFTER HAVING IT. THEN AT TIMES I WOULD BE LOCKED OUT FOR EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME. AFTER THE OIL PUMP IN THE TRANSMISSION WENT OUT I HAD IT CHECKED FOR CODES AND IT SHOWED U0141 AS BEING STORED. AFTER THE TRANSMISSION WAS FIXED THEY WERE IN THE PROCESS OF DELIVERING IT BACK AND IT STARTED ACTING UP ON THEIR WAY WITH IT. AFTER TALKING TO THE DEALER TODAY THEY TELL ME IT IS THE TIPM AND IT IS THROWING 35 CODES. THIS IS NOT SAFE CAUSING YOU TO LOSE POWER WHILE DRIVING OR VEHICLE NOT STARTING OR BEING LOCKED OUT IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION
I BOUGHT A 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN WITH 77,438 MILES. THE VEHICLE RAN GREAT TILL THE END OF NOVEMBER 2018. AT WHICH TIME WE STARTED HAVING MAJOR ISSUES. 1ST THE VEHICLE WILL SELF ACCELERATE WITH TO EXCESSIVE SPEEDS OVER 80 MPH WITH NO ASSISTANCE. YOU HAVE TO HOLD THE BREAK TO KEEP IT UNDER CONTROL. 2ND YOU CAN TAKE THE KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION, CLOSE THE DOOR AND THE CAR CONTINUE TO RUN. 3RD WHEN STARTING THE VAN THE TRANSMISSION GOES INTO LIMP MODE NOT ALLOWING YOU TO SHIFT THE CAR TO REVERSE OR DRIVE. TO RELEASE THE YOU HAVE TO HIT THE SAFETY OVERRIDE SWITCH PLACE THE VAN IN GEAR AND THEN YOU ARE ONLY ABLE TO DRIVE TO THE SPEED OF 30 MPH. WE HAVE TAKEN THIS VAN TO THE SHOP THAT DRIVE TIME WARRANTY COMPANY DIRECTED US TO WHICH WAS PEP BOYS. THEY WERE NOT ABLE...
SHORTLY AFTER GETTING MY VAN I FELT THAT IT DID NOT HANDLE PROPERLY. I EXPERIECED HYDRO PLANNING WHEN BRAND NEW TO ME. TRACKING UPON ACCELERATION WAS PORE. VERY POOR TRACKING AT ACCELERATION GOING INTO A TURN AT START UP SPEED. I CALLED CHRYSLER AND THEY SAID THERE HAD BEEN NO COMPLAINTS TO DATE. BY SUGGESTION, I PAID $100 FOR AN ALIGNMENT. THE ALIGNMENT DID NOT HELP WITH THIS MATTER. ANY TYPE OF PRECIPITATION AFFECTS THE TRACKING OF THE VEHICLE. ANY PAINTED LINES ON THE ROAD AFFECT TRACTION. IT SEEMS THAT THE TRACTION CONTROL IS THE PROBLEM, OR MAYBE THE YOKOHAMA AVID TIRES ARE THE PROBLEM. WHEN I ACCELERATE IN ANY GIVEN SITUATION MY TIRES WILL SPIN OR TRACTION CONTROL SLIPS BACK AND FORTH AS I CROSS OVER ANY REFLECTIVE SURFACES (LINES ON ROAD, OR STOP STRIPS, OR CROSSWALKS). I HAVE HAD TO LEARN TO STOP ON ROAD SURFACE, PRIOR TO...
THE VEHICLE IS 2 YEARS OLD I HAVE OWNED FOR 7 MONTHS. I START THE CAR IT WILL NOT GO INTO GEAR. I SHUT THE CAR OFF THE MOTOR KEEPS RUNNING. THEN IT WILL GO IN GEAR AND MOVE BY ITSELF.
VEHICLE HAS POOR TRACTION AND IS PRONE TO SLIPPING IN WINTER SNOW CONDITIONS. WHILE DRIVING AS WELL AS WHEN PICKING UP SPEED AT INTERSECTIONS THE VEHICLE IS PRONE TO SLIDING AND HAS POOR TRACTION WHEN ACCELERATING.
7.5K MILES ON VEHICLE, MOVING FROM A PARKING SPOT THE ESC LIGHT CAME ON, THEN THE RACK AND PINION COMPLETELY SNAPPED. THE VEHICLE IS INOPERABLE. HAD MY FAMILY AND MYSELF BEEN ON THE HIGHWAY AND THIS HAPPENED WOULD'VE RESULTED IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
