The contact stated there was a warning indicator light illuminated but, was unable to identify the warning light. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. WHILE DRIVING, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BECAME STUCK AND THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SAFELY SHIFT THE VEHICLE INTO NEUTRAL AND MANUALLY PULL THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BACK TO POSITION. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO ALLEN SAMUELS DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM (201 W LOOP 340, WACO, TX 76712); HOWEVER, THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 34782747. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 70,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
