The contact owns a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while stopped at a traffic light, the accelerator pedal was depressed however, the vehicle failed to respond. Additionally, there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. The contact parked the vehicle. The contact had an independent mechanic to go to the location to inspect the vehicle. The independent mechanic diagnosed the vehicle with a possible failed transmission pump. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
