As I was driving my car felt like if it went on neutral. I almost crashed. Stopped. Then it would not come off of park. I kept putting it on drive and it automatically kept going into park mode. The car was still running though. And turns on. It still wont drive. Turns on but doesn't go onto drive mode.
My backup camera works when it wants to mostly not at all. It just flickers when I put the car in reverse. I really need it because of the blind spots. Also since the fuel issue was recalled and fixed my car smells like it's not burning the gas properly. In other words I can smell fumes.
The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler 300S. The contact stated while driving approximately 60 MPH, the vehicle stalled. The contact stated that the check engine, transmission, and traction control warning lights were illuminated. The contact pulled over and was able to restart the vehicle after several attempts. The contact had taken the vehicle to an independent mechanic who diagnosed and determined that the engine failure was related to NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V741000 (Electrical System) and referred the contact to the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. Additionally, the contact stated that the cruise control had failed, and the light was constantly showing that the cruise control was engaged; however, the contact stated that the cruise control was not activated. The contact researched online and related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18E053000 (Power Train). The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 89,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Chrysler 300. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH, the vehicle made a sudden stop with the traction control warning light and the electrical system warning light was illuminated. The contact turned off the vehicle and attempted to restart the vehicle; however, the vehicle would not restart. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and the mechanic replaced the electronic throttle control system and the electronic sensor; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the mechanic several times because the failure reoccurred several times. The dealer was contacted and stated that the vehicle needed to be diagnosed. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 125,000.
I have a 2014 Chrysler 300 S the Oil Filter Housing Is Leaking on and around wiring that could cause the warm or hot oil to leak on wires and cause an electrical engine fire the Manufacturer was contacted and they stated that my Vin Number was not included with the recall that was already issued and because my Vin was not included Manufacturer refused to repair the issue
On or about February 17, 2022, the referenced 300C was taken to Elk Grove Chrysler due to a malfunction with the electronic shift. The car jumped into Park while in motion which was a Safety risk to others as well as myself. After consulting with service team, I was informed that the car had to undergo a diagnostic. A day later I was informed that there was a fault with the electronic shift which required repaired; however, parts were not in stock at this location. I was informed parts had to be ordered and would take approximately 2-3 weeks due to logistical issues. On Monday, February 28, 2022, technician reported that a part was received for the upper mechanism; however, it was determined that the lower mechanism needed repair. I have been having trouble with my cruise control lately. If I start my car remotely and then drive my cruise control won't turn on unless I hold down all 4 buttons on my steering wheel. When this happens I also end up having difficulties disengaging it and there will be a 1-2 mph difference from what the cruise speed is set as to what speed the vehicle is actually traveling. I noticed there was a safety recall in regards to this issue that was issued on 05/17/2018 but my Vin didn't register for that recall so I'm wondering if my car was missed or if there are more vehicles like mine having this same issue that wasn't taken care of in the last recall issued.
From a red light, I proceeded through intersection once light turned green. My engine stalled & coasted to outside highway lane with no warning lights ot any other sign of a problem. I parked on the shoulder and the car did not re-start. Twenty minutes later, It re-started with no further problems.
Normally when u turn on the car it says press the brake pedal to start engine in the message, but in my situation it says press clutch pedal to start engine but the problem is that my car is an automatic my car doesn't have clutch what can I do?

DRIVER HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH BACKUP CAMERA SINCE THE CAR WAS PURCHASED IN 2016. ORIGINALLY, THE CAMERA WOULD JUST GO IN AND OUT. A BLACK SCREEN WOULD SHOW UP ON THE MONITOR ONCE THE CAR WAS PUT INTO REVERSE. THIS WAS MENTIONED TO THE DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT THE CAMERA WOULD NEVER ACT UP WHEN I WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP. WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE AT NIGHT THE HEADLIGHTS WILL FLASH OFF AND ON, THE DASH BOARD LIGHTS GO OFF AND ON, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS COME ON AND THE RADIO WILL GO OFF. IN THE DAY TIME WHILE DRIVING THE SAME THINGS HAPPEN EXCEPT THE HEADLIGHTS GOING OFF AND ON. THIS HAPPENS ON THE STREET AND THE HIGHWAY WHILE IN MOTION. WHILE DRIVING HOME ONE AFTERNOON MY FACTORY BEATS SOUND SYSTEM STARTED MAKING A STATIC NOISE WHILE LISTENING TO MUSIC VIA BLUETOOTH. IT CLEARED UP AND TWO DAYS LATER THE COMPLETE AUDIO SYSTEM STOPPED WORKING. I THEN RESTARTED THE SYSTEM AND STILL NO SOUND FROM RADIO BLUETOOTH OR GPS. I THEN NOTICED A MELTED FUSE THAT ACTUALLY STARTED MELTING THE PLASTIC IN THE FUSE BOX LOCATED IN THE TRUNK NEAR THE BATTERY.
CAR IS NOT ACCELERATION AND HAS GONE INTO PARK MODE. THE CAR HAD TO BE RETURNED HOME AND IS PARKED.

CAR WAS IN MOTION WHEN THE GEAR SHIFTED FROM DRIVE TO STOP CAUSING THE CAR TO COME TO AN ABRUPT STOP. THE WIPER BLADES CAME ON BY THEMSELVES, THE GEAR SHIFT INDICATORS BEGAN BLINKING OFF AND ON, THE TRANSMISSION MONITOR BEGAN STATING THAT DO NOT TURN THE CAR OFF, THEN BEGAN FLASHING: PROCEED TO DESTINATION , TURN CAR OFF TO TURN TO START CAR, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BEGAN FLASHING AND THE POWER STEERING INDICATOR BEGAN FLASHING ON .AFTER ABOUT TWENTY MINUTES I WAS ABLE TO GET THE SHIFT INDICATOR TO SHIFT INTO GEAR SO THAT I COULD GET THE CAR OUT OF THE STREET.

SYSTEM STILL HAS ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION. SEAT BELTS SHOULDER HARNESS IN ALL BACK SEATS INERTIA LOCKS DO NOT OPERATE IN EMERGENCY STOPS. MY CHILDREN FLEW FORWARD WITH THEIR CAR SEATS WHEN A CAR RAN A STOP SIGN AND I LOCKED THE BREAKS TO AVOID A COLLISION.

I AM A CHRYSLER EMPLOYEE AND HAVE ACCESS TO THE CHANGES/BULLETINS. RECALL: P60/NHTSA 14V-634 HAD THE 160AMP IN 3.6L VEHICLES INVESTIGATED IN AUGUST OF 2014 AND SUBMITTED ON 10/07/2014. THE SOLUTION CHANGE WAS CREATED ON 09/12/2014 TO PERFORM A NIK CHANGE FOR THE FAULTY 160AMP TO SOLVE THE ISSUE, THIS WAS DONE WITH 6322-04098-CCD FOR 2015 + FUTURE MODEL YEARS. THE PART NUMBER FOR THE AMP WAS 04801779AG AND THIS CHANGE WAS MAKING IT 04801779AH. HOWEVER, MY 2014 CHRYSLER 300 THAT HAD THE ALTERNATOR GO OUT ON IT 04/11/2017, HAD THE PN 04801779AG. THE MIL CAME ON AS I TURNED ON MY CAR ONE DAY AFTER WORK. I HAD FLIPPED THROUGH THE VEHICLE INFO AND NOTICED THAT THE OIL PRESSURE WAS AT 99. I WENT TO GET THE CODE READ AND FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS THE OIL PRESSURE SENDING UNIT THAT IS MALFUNCTIONED. I HAVE READ FORUM AFTER FORUM REGARDING CHRYSLER 300 VEHICLES RANGING FROM YEARS 2011-2014 AND HAVE FOUND THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM. WILL THE DEALERSHIP REPLACE THE UNIT FOR FREE?
I WAS TOLD THAT THE CHRYSLER 300, 2014, WAS UNDER RECALL, BUT I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF THE RECALL, I ASSUME, SINCE THE CAR WAS UNDER A LEASE AGREEMENT. THE PROBLEM I EXPERIENCED ONE DAY WAS THE THE CAR WOULD NOT START AND THE CAR HAD TO BE TOWED. DURING THE TOWING, THE CAR WAS DAMAGED IN THE FRONT END AND NOW RATTLES ON THE LEFT FRONT WHEN THE CAR HITS A BUMP IN THE ROAD. THIS CAR NEEDS TO BE INSPECTED AND THE DAMAGE REPAIRED SINCE THE DAMAGE AFFECTS THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CAR. IN ADDITION, THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM CAUSED THE CAR TO BE SCRATCHED IN SEVERAL PLACES AND COST ME A GREAT DEAL OF TIME AND MONEY. PLEASE CONTACT ME SO THESE PROBLEMS MAY BE RESOLVED BY THE DEALER THAT HANDLED THE REPAIR, WHICH WAS HAYES CHRYSLER.
ON ONE OCCASION MY VEHICLE'S SCREEN TURNED WHITE AND RESTARTED WITHOUT WARNING. ANOTHER OCCASION WHILE TRYING TO USE THE HEAT, THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO BLOW OUT COLD AIR AFTER TURNING THE HEAT TO HIGH. THE PROBLEM DID NOT CORRECT ITSELF UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND TURNED BACK ON A SHOT TIME LATER. THE SAME OCCURRENCE HAPPENED WITH THE A/C NOT WORKING UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF AND THEN RESTARTED A SHORT TIME LATER.
COMPASS DIRECTION WRONG. GARAGE DOOR IN CAR BUTTON OCCASIONALLY DOES NOT WORK. OCCASIONAL LOSS OF RADIO. REAR OF CAR BUMP SOUND ON START UP. UNEVEN DRIVE WITH SMALL JERK WHEN GOING FROM START TO ACCELERATING ALL OF ABOVE ON INITIAL START UP.
CAR HAS A RECALL AND HAS BEEN STRETCHED INTO A LIMO. CHRYSLER WANTS ME TO PAY TO REMOVE PARTS SO IT CAN BE FIXED. THIS SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF BY CHRYSLER. THE CAR MAY CATCH ON FIRE AS ITS A BAD ELECTRICAL ISSUE.

ON 01-17-2015 LESS THAN A MONTH AGO. WHILE DRIVING HOME, THE CAR SURGED/HESITATED AND SEEMED TO LOSE POWER. I ALSO NOTICED THE CHECK ENGINE ICON ILLUMINATED. I WAS ABLE TO MOVE TO THE EXPRESSWAY SHOULDER AND SHUT THE ENGINE THEN RESTARTED IT, BUT THE CHECK ENGINE ICON STILL WAS ILLUMINATED, AND THE SHIFTER WOULD NOT SHIFT. IT WAS LOCKED. I SHUT THE ENGINE AND EXITED THE CAR TO MAKE A CELL PHONE CALL. WHEN I RE-ENTERED THE CAR I WAS ABLE TO ENGAGE THE SHIFTER TO THE DRIVE POSITION, BUT THE CHECK ENGINE ICON WAS STILL ILLUMINATED, AS WELL AS OTHER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ICONS WERE MISSING AND SOME WERE PRESENT THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN. AS YOU PROBABLY KNOW, NOT ONLY CHRYSLER VANS ARE AFFECTED, THE ENTIRE PRODUCT LINE INCLUDING DODGE AND CHRYSLER CARS, VANS AND SUV'S. ALSO JEEP. I HAVE A 2014 CHRYSLER 300 S PURCHASED DEC 2014. THE TIPM FAILED 1 MONTH LATER IN JAN 2015, WHILE DRIVING ON AN EXPRESSWAY THE CAR LOST POWER. I WAS FORTUNATE I WAS NOT REAR ENDED. THE DEALER DID NOTHING AND NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT THE TIPM , THEY DID A SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR THE TCM THEN SENT ME ON MY WAY. IT FAILED AGAIN IN FEB 2015 THE CAR WOULD NOT START, AND ALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ICONS FLASHED AND START BUTTON WOULD NOT RETURN TO OFF DETENT, A LOW PULSATING SOUND AUDIBLE IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT, WIPERS MOVING SLOWLY WITH SWITCH IN OFF POSITION THE ONLY CHARGED THE BATTERY HAD 27 ERROR CODES, NO MENTION OF THE TIPM. IN MARCH 2015 LOST NAVIGATION AND PHONE PARING....
