Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE IGNITION WAS TURNED TO THE ACCESSORY POSITION, THE BATTERY FAILED AFTER TWO MINUTES. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE BATTERY FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V634000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
