The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that the driver's side power master window switch had failed and failed to roll up the windows. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had caused a significant amount of water to leak into the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and the failure was inked to NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V248000 (Electrical System, Visibility); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 214,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
Keeps blowing #46 headlight relay. Happens every 2-3 weeks. When this happens the low beams stop working. I have to switch to high beams to continue driving.
I've had the brakes replaced because I thought they were an issue I was having with my ABS. But my car will randomly lock its brakes as I'm driving, no matter what speed. I'm scared to drive it. It also almost loses all power after breaking but then speeds up on its own making it almost impossible to slow down or brake.
My doors have had water seeping in them the whole time and I’ve replaced my speakers multiple times.
My headlights turn off bybthemselves while driving, other times they wont turn off at all after car is turned off even while in park, and other times they turn on while switched to off position randomly in the middle of te night resulting in a dead battery come morning. My driver window no longer works as well as driver power locks. Happening since 2020 random at first now permentant removal of fuse switch in order to shut off lights and the fuse switch is hot to the touch upon removal.
I NOTICED AROUND MARCH 18TH 2021,THAT MY HEADLIGHTS WAS OUT WHILE DRIVING AND JUST 2 DAYS AGO MY BATTERY DIED APRIL 12TH 2021 DUE TO MY IGNITION SWITCH BEING STUCK IT WAS PARKED ALREADY IN MY GARAGE
THE FIRST THING TO GO WRONG WAS THE POWER WINDOWS DON'T WORK PROPERLY IN THE WINTER, NOW THE AIR CONDITIONER ONLY BLOWS COLD AIR INTERMITTENTLY, AND THE MOST RECENT PROBLEM IS THE HEADLIGHTS WON'T WORK AT ALL, I CALLED THE LOCAL SERVICE CENTER AND THEY SAID THAT THE ELECTRICAL RECALLS WERE VIN SPECIFIC, EVEN THO I HAD THE CORRECT MAKE MODEL AND YEAR MY VIN DID NOT QUALIFY FOR THE RECALL! I'M VERY UPSET THAT THEY CAN BE VIN SPECIFIC BUT I'M HAVING ALL THE ISSUES ON THE RECALLS!! I CAN NO LONGER DRIVE MY VEHICLE IF IT IS RAINING, FOGGY, OR DARK BECAUSE I HAVE NO HEADLIGHTS!!! I ALSO LOST CONTROL OF MY CAR IN THE RAIN AND THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH THE STABILITRAK, THE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON FOR A WHILE, LUCKILY I STOPPED MY CAR BEFORE I CRASHED INTO ANYTHING
FFUSE BLOCK CAUGHT ON FIRE BECAUSE OF BAD RELAY. THE LIGHTS WENT OUT ON MY WAY HOME FROM MISSOULA MONTANA TO HAMILTON MONTANA. THANKFULLY THE HIGH BEAMS STILL WORKED . ON OPENING THE FUSE BLOCK THE DAY AND LOW BEAM LIGHS RELAY HAD MELTED A 1/2 INCH HOLE IN THE FUSE BLOCK.
WHILE DRIVING MY VEHICLE IT STARTED PRODUCING A LIGHT SMOKE THROUGH DEFROST VENT ON PASSENGER SIDE. I STOPPED AND OPENED THE HOOD TO SEE IF SOMETHING WAS ON FIRE IN THE ENGINE AREA AND THERE WAS NOT. I GOT BACK IN MY VEHICLE AND PROCEEDED TO DRIVE IT BACK HOME AND WITHIN SECONDS I HAD BLACK SMOKE ROLLING FROM DASHBOARD AND FLAMES SHOOTING FROM UNDER DASH ON PASSENGER SIDE HITTING PASSENGER SEAT NEXT TO ME I PULLED OVER AND MY SON AND I JUMPED OUT THANKFULLY HE WAS IN BACK SEAT AND THE CAR WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES WITHIN SECONDS. CAR IS TOTALED. PASSENGER WINDOW QUIT WORKING ABOUT A MONTH AGO BUT I FIGURED IT WAS A WINDOW MOTOR ISSUE BUT NOW I'M WONDERING IF IT WAS CONNECTED.
HAD RECALL REPAIRED AT DEALER. CAR CAUGHT FIRE DOOR PANEL SWITCHES. REPAIR HAS NOW FAILED AGAIN 12/23/2019. THE PREVIOUS INCIDENT, WIRES WERE BURNING IN THE DOOR PANEL. DOOR LOCKS AND LIGHT WERE OPERATING ERRATICALLY. THIS TIME THE DRIVER S CONTROLS ARE ALL INOPERATIVE. CAR WAS MOVING AT TIME, MADE TO HOUSE, CALLED FIRE DEPT VIA ONSTAR. CAR WAS AT DEALER SEVERAL DAYS. DID COMPLAIN SOMETHING STILL BANGING IN DOOR RADIO SPEAKER HAS NOT WORKED SINCE THEIR RECALL REPAIR
THE SPEEDOMETER KEEPS MALFUNCTIONING. THE SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE STICKS AT A HIGHER SPEED AFTER DECELERATING OR STOPPING, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW WHAT SPEED YOU ARE DRIVING. THIS HAPPENS MOSTLY WHEN THE WEATHER WARMS UP, SPRING/SUMMER/FALL. MAKING A HARD BRAKING STOP, LIKE AT AN INTERSECTION, WILL SOMETIMES CAUSE THE NEEDLE TO DROP BACK 5-10 MPH, AS WILL TURNING THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON. MOST SPECIFICALLY, YESTERDAY, MAY 31, 2019, THE SPEEDOMETER NEEDLE WOULDN'T GO BACK DOWN AT ALL, AND MY SPEEDOMETER WAS "PEGGED" PAST THE TOP END OF 110MPH. I HAVE RESEARCHED ONLINE, AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON AND CHRONIC ISSUE WITH THIS MODEL.

ALL OF SUDDEN MY TAIL GATE WILL NOT OPEN UNLESS THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING AND I HIT THE UNLOCK BUTTON 5 OR MORE TIMES AND THEN AT TIMES THAT DOESN'T WORK ALSO MY AIRBAG LIGHT STARTING BLINKING AND NOW IT WON'T GO OFF. I CALLED ABOUT A RECALL AND WAS TOLD THERE WASN'T ONE FOR THIS PROBLEM BUT ON LINE IT SHOWED IT WAS. THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR ELECTRICAL PANEL MALFUNCTIONS AND THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN AND THE WINDOW DOES NOT GO DOWN AND THE WINDOW LOCK UNLOCKS AFTER BEING LOCKED. THE RACK AND PINION HAD TO BE REPLACED TWICE. THE CAR TURNED OFF WHILE DRIVING. THE LIGHT IN THE BACK WILL NOT WORK NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES THE BULB AND RACK HAS BEEN REPLACED.
RECALLED, BEEN TRYING TO GET GM DEALERS TO REPAIR RECALLED DOOR SYSTEM SINCE PURCHASE OCT 2017. WENT OUT TO VEHICLE, OPENED DOOR SMOKE HAD FILLED INSIDE VEHICLE, DOOR PANEL WAS WARM. ALL KINDS OUT DASH LIGHTS BLINKING, POWER WINDOWS INOP.
TROUBLE WITH MY IGNITION. SOMETIMES WILL NOT SHUT OFF AND UNABLE TO REMOVE KEY. HAPPENS EVERY TIME I USE IT.

TAKATA RECALL I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT THAT DID OVER $9,000 DAMAGE TO MY FRONT END OF VEHICLE. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT INFLATE. THIS WAS ON A CITY STREET, AND BOTH VEHICLES WERE MOVING. ALSO HAD A POWER WINDOW MOTOR GO OUT. I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS MIGHT BE INVOLVED IN A RECALL OF WINDOW MOTORS THAT COULD BE CAUSING FIRES. *TR
MY LOW BEAN HEAD LIGHTS STOPPED WORKING. 2006/2007 TRAILBLAZERS HAD A RECALL FOR THE HEAD LIGHT MODULE. THE DEALERSHIP CHARGED ME FOR THE REPAIR. HOWEVER, I'M TOLD MY CAR DOESN'T QUALIFY FOR THE RECALL. ITS THE SAME MAKE MODEL AND YEAR.

FLASHING STARTED AFTER CHEVY DEALER REPLACED THE UNDERHOOD BUSSED ELECTRIC CENTER (UBEC) WHICH WAS SUPPOSE TO RESOLVE THE SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM WARNING AND TRANSMISSION INTERLOCK SOLENOID FAILING TO LET TRUCK OUT OF PARK.
BAD BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR. THE A/C COMPLETELY SHUTS OFF WHEN SWITCHED TO POSITION "5" ON FAN SPEED. I JUST REPLACED THIS PART ABOUT A MONTH AGO. IT HAS BEEN WORKING FINE SINCE I REPLACED IT. THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING AGAIN NOW. THE FAN SHUTS COMPLETELY OFF WHEN IN POSITION "5". THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE DESIGN OF THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. I AM WORRIED THAT THIS WILL EVENTUALLY CAUSE A FIRE FROM MALFUNCTIONING. YET ANOTHER PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE.

YESTERDAY, I HAD SUV IN FOR NEW TIRES AND WHEN THEY WENT TO BACK OUT OF THE BAY SMOKE CAME FROM THE STEERING COLUMN. WHEN THEY TRIED AGAIN, THE IGNITION SWITCH IS DEAD, NO DASHBOARD LIGHTS. DISCONNECTED BATTERY TO PREVENT A FIRE AND AM TOWING TO CHEVROLET DEALER.
AT A RED LIGHT AND ATTEMPTED TO CLOSE THE DRIVER'S SIDE ELECTRIC WINDOW. WHEN I PRESSED THE BUTTOM TO RAISE THE WINDOW THE WINDOW STOPPED RAISING TO A CLOSED POSITION AND HEARD A LOUD NOISE SIMILAR TO GLASS CRUMBLING INSIDE DRIVER DOOR. IS THE REGULATOR COVERED UNDER A RECALL. I PREVIOUSLY HAD THE DRIVER'S DOOR MASTER POWER WINDOW SWITCH MODULE REPLACED DUE TO A RECALL. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE DRIVER'S SIDE WINDOW MECHANISM ALWAYS SLOWING DOWN AND STOPPING MIDWAY DURING COLD TEMPERATURES.

THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V599000 (VISIBILITY). THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND OFFERED TO BUY BACK THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 162,000.
THERE IS TIME THE KEY WILL KEEP TURN ENGINE OVER EVEN WHEN YOU LET GO OF KEY , #2 HEADLAMP AND DAYTIME DRIVING LITE SOMETIMES WON'T WON'T WORK PROPERLY. AND THE LAST THING IS MY DRIVER SIDE MASTER DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY WHEN IT RAIN.

THE IGNITION WILL NOT TURN OFF UNLESS THE BRIGHT LIGHTS ARE ON. AT TIMES, IT WILL START AUTOMATICALLY EVEN WHEN THE IGNITION SWITCH IS TURNED OFF. SOMETIMES THE IGNITION WILL NOT TURN ON OR OFF AT ALL. FUEL SYSTEM IS FAULTY. CONSISTENTLY PROBLEMS HAVE CAUSED THE FUEL PUMP TO GO OUT REPEATEDLY, AND THE FUEL GAUGE TO STOP WORKING. MOTOR IN THE DRIVERS SEAT STOPPED WORKING AFTER MONTHS OF PROBLEMS. THE RADIO HAS STOPPED WORKING. WE'VE REPLACED THE FUSE, AND HAVE BEEN TOLD ITS AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
MY 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER HAD LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS NOT WORKING WHEN I TURN THEM ON. I HAVE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT WITH HIGH BEAM LIGHTS (THEY WORK FINE) AND I AM VERY ANNOYING TO OTHER DRIVERS. I HAD VEHICLE CHECKED OUT AND FUSES AND LIGHT BULBS APPEAR FINE. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A COMMON OCCURRENCE. I NEED IT FIXED.
SOLID STATE RELAY MODULE FOR LOW BEAM - HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS. WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT, BOTH LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WENT OUT AT THE SAME TIME. WAS ABLE TO SWITCH TO HIGH BEAMS TO CONTINUE HOME, BUT NOT WITHOUT BLINDING OTHER VEHICLES. REPLACED THE SOLID STATE RELAY AT A LOCAL AUTOZONE STORE. THIS RELAY IS A SINGLE POINT FAILURE, WHICH AN UN-EXPERIENCED DRIVER COULD HAVE HAD A POSSIBLE ACCIDENT IF THE PERSON DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO QUICKLY IN A CALM MANNER.
I PARKED MY 2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER IN MY DRIVEWAY SUNDAY 6/21/2015. I RECEIVED A CALL AN HOUR LATER FROM MY NEIGHBOR THAT MY LIGHTS WAS STILL ON. I ALWAYS HAVE MY LIGHTS SET THAT WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE THEY GO OFF AUTOMATICALLY. TRIED TO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS WITH NO LUCK. I SMELLED ELECTRICAL BURNING COMING FROM THE ENGINE AREA. FOUND THE FUSE BOX IN THE ENGINE BAY AND NOTICED THAT THE HDM MODULE #45 WAS COMPLETELY MELTED. WHEN I TOOK THE CAR TO THE AUTO SHOP, NOT ONLY DID THEY FIND THAT THE HDM MODULE #45 WAS MELTED, IT HAD RUINED THE MAIN FUSE CIRCUIT BOARD FROM THE HEAT. LUCKILY THIS HAPPENED DURING THE DAYLIGHT AND NOT AT NIGHT, BECAUSE I WOULDN'T HAVE HAD HEADLIGHTS VERY LONG WITH THIS MODULE BEING MELTED. ALSO THIS COULD HAVE EASILY STARTED A FIRE IN THE ENGINE BAY WITH THE...
FUEL GAUGE READ FULL TANK WHEN IN FACT THE TANK WAS EMPTY. I RAN OUT OF GAS IN MY DRIVEWAY. WHEN THIS OCCURRED MY ON DASH COMPUTER WENT CRAZY LIGHTING UP THEN TURNING OFF, WHEN I PUT GAS IN THE CAR AND RESTARTED SEVERAL TIMES THE COMPUTER SEEMED TO CORRECT ITSELF. FILLING THE TANK THE GAUGE READ EMPTY AND REMAINED THAT WAY FOR SEVERAL DAYS. THE GAUGE OPERATES INTERMITTENTLY. I RECENTLY HAD THE FUEL PUMP REPLACED AFTER FAILURE. THE PUMP WAS REPLACED PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT. I HAVE SCHEDULED THE GAUGE REPAIR WITH MY DEALER.
I DON'T HAVE EXACT DATE I BOUGHT MY VEHICLE IT IS JUST AN ESTIMATE. BUT ISSUE HAS HAPPENED TWICE NOW. ALSO DON'T HAVE VIN WITH ME BUT CAN GET IT IF NEEDED. I BOUGHT MY VEHICLE ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. WHEN I BOUGHT IT THE PASSENGER WINDOW REGULATOR WENT OUT. LAMB'S CHEVROLET IN ONIDA, SD REPLACED IT. NOW A FEW MONTHS AGO THE PASSENGER REGULATOR WENT OUT AGAIN. THEY TOLD ME WELL THEY ONLY HAVE A 1 YEAR WARRANTY ON THEM. WARRANTY OR NOT IT SHOULD HAVE NOT GONE OUT WITHIN A COUPLE OF YEARS. I AM FIGHTING WITH THEM ON PAYING FOR IT. IS THERE ANY OTHER COMPLAINTS OR RECALLS ON WINDOW REGULATORS WITH THE CHEVY TRAILBLAZERS? I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE REPLACING THIS EVERY COUPLE OF YEARS. I WAS DRIVING MY TRUCK HEADING HOME AND NOTICED THE ROAD LOOKED DARK. I PULLED OVER INTO A PARKING LOT AND REALIZED I HAD NO LOW BEAMS. MY BLINKERS, FOG LIGHTS AND HIGH BEAMS ALL WORKED PROPERLY. I HAD TO DRIVE HOME WITH MY HIGH BEAMS ON, BLINDING OTHER DRIVERS. MY HEADLIGHTS AND DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS HAVE INTERMITTENTLY WENT OUT OFF AND ON (APPROXIMATELY 4 TIMES) OVER THE PAST YEAR. I HAD THE DEALERSHIP LOOK INTO IT THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE AND THEY COULDN'T FIND A PROBLEM. WHEN RESEARCHING WHAT COULD CAUSE BOTH LIGHTS TO FAIL AT THE SAME TIME, I CAME ACROSS THE LATEST RECALL INFO. I CALLED CHEVY AND GAVE THEM MY VIN AND WAS TOLD MY VEHICLE IS NOT AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL. EVERY COUPLE MONTHS THE ALTERNATOR GOES OUT I AM ALMOST TO THE LIMIT ON MY WARRANTY RETURNS.THE FIRST TIME IT WENT OUT IT WASN'T CHARGING THEN SEVERAL TIMES AFTER THAT IT WENT OUT WAS OVER CHARGING AND IN DOING SO DAMAGED MY BATTERY SO I HAD TO PAY TO REPLACE IT ALSO.
