2007 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER — Problems, Recalls & Safety Data

Low tire presher lights stay on even when the tire presher is ok. Also I want to say the anti sliding feature says it is not working as well. I could be wrong about this feature but there si a button on the gear shift that controls this option. The button will not turn it on and off.

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated while driving 55 MPH at nighttime, the low-beam headlights started flickering, and then became inoperable. The vehicle decelerated and veered to the side of the road. The contact engaged the high-beam headlights and continued driving. The contact stated that he replaced the low-beam headlights relay several times. Additionally, the contact replaced the low beam headlights switch, bulb, and fuses; however, the failure persisted. The local dealer and a second dealer, Pohanka Chevrolet (13915 US-50, Chantilly, VA 20151) were notified of the failure and informed the contact that the VIN was not included in a recall. The contact related the failure to GM Campaign Number: N140291. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 133,000.

SERVICE AIRBAG light came on last week. Took vehicle to dealership to fix. Parts are discontinued so airbag cannot be fixed per Ferman Chevrolet dealership. Also told me that airbag will not work if in an accident.

The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed and the failure was inked to NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V248000 (Electrical System, Visibility); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 214,000. Parts distribution disconnect.
