Driving vehicle turn it off turn back on drive somewhere and turn it off and go swimming for an hour came back go to go start it and would not start I believe it's the anti-theft system as we replaced the ignition switch and the ignition cylinder but my illumination selector for my gear selector nor my tachometer works nor do my front two windows or locks
FUEL GAUGE CONSISTENTLY SHOWED "EMPTY" AND EXTERNAL LIGHTS WERE ALWAYS VERY DIM. LACK OF AWARENESS OF FUEL STATUS LED TO BREAKDOWN ON HEAVILY TRAFFICKED ROAD AND DIM HAZARD LIGHTS CONTRIBUTED TO POOR VISIBILITY AND A FATAL ACCIDENT.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 72,000.

THE GAS SENSOR IN MY GAS TANK IS FAULTY. CHEVROLET ADMITTED TO THIS BY OFFERING A PARTIAL COVERAGE ON THE REPAIR BUT NOW THAT PROGRAM HAS ENDED. I️ AM FORCED TO PAY FOR THIS REPAIR IN ITS ENTIRETY TO THE TUNE OF $1,000. CHEVY HAS ACKNOWLEDGED THE PROBLEM AND EXPIRED THE PROGRAM TO HELP COVER THE COST TO REPLACE THEIR DEFECTIVE PART.?
VEHICLE WAS SERVICED FOR A FAULTY FUEL LEVEL FLOAT SENSOR, WHICH WAS REGISTERING THAT THERE WAS NO FUEL IN THE GAS TANK WHEN THE TANK WAS FULL. 7 DAYS LATER, WHILE DRIVING ON A BUSY FREEWAY, ALL OF THE GAUGES ON THE GAUGE CLUSTER STARTED SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL AND THE VEHICLE LOST COMPLETE POWER WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH. I HAD TO MEREGE ACROSS 4 LANES ON THE FREEWAY IN HEAVY TRAFFIC AND NEARLY GOT RUN OVER. NO POWER TO THE ENGINE AT ALL - IT JUST DIED WHILE I WAS DRIVING. OF COURSE, ONSTAR AND THE CHEVROLET DEALER THAT PERFORMED ALL OF THE SERVICE ON THE VEHICLE WERE NO HELP. WHILE WAITING FOR ONSTAR, MY VEHICLE WAS TOWED OFF THE FREEWAY.
GAS GAUGE NOT WORKING,FUEL SENSOR RECALL WAS ISSUED A FEW YEARS BACK, VEHICLE WAS NOT FIXED BUT NOW RECALL DOES NOT SHOW UP AT THE DEALERS.
FUEL GAUGE IS ERRATIC, MOVING AROUND FROM FULL TO NO FUEL BACK TO FULL. IT MAY STAY ON EMPTY FOR 5-10 MINUTES THEN MOVE TO FULL AND THEN DROP AGAIN. ALL IN ONE SHORT TRIP.
FUEL GAUGE IS GOING CRAZY. WHEN I FILL IT WITH FUEL IT WILL SOMETIMES REGISTER EMPTY AND YELLOWLIGHT INDICATOR COMES ON. IT GOES UP AND DOWN ALL THE TIME.
THE GAS GAUGE SENOR QUIT WORKING IT IS STUCK ON EMPTY. THE MILEAGE IS 116,014 THERE HAVE BEEN OTHER'S THAT HAS REPORTED THIS PROBLEM. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL AND FIXED FREE OF CHARGE BY THE DEALER.

I FILLED UP MY TANK YESTERDAY. ONE HOUR LATER, STARTED THE CAR AND THE FUEL GUAGE READ ZERO, WITH LOW FUEL INDICATOR ON. NOW IT'S INTERMITTENT, NEVER GOING ABOVE 3/4 FULL. I HAVE PRINTED OUT THE NHTSA'S INVESTIGATIONS NUMBER DP 10-001AND PE 11-014. I HAVE HEARD THAT GM IS WILLING TO FIX THE PROBLEM FOR 1/2 PRICE. WHAT IS 1/2 PRICE? 1/2 OF WHAT? IT WORKED FOR SOMETIME, HOWEVER, HERE WE ARE TWO YEARS LATER AND ITS HAPPENING AGAIN...I DON'T HAVE $900.00 TO REPLACE THE PART AGAIN. WE WERE TRAVELING FROM SPOKANE, WA TO PORTLAND, OR, WHEN WE GOT TO RICHLAND, WA THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. WE STOPPED AND SCANNED THE COMPUTER AND GAVE US A CODE FOR A FAULTY PEDAL SENSOR. WE ERASED THE CODE AND TURNED THE TRAILBLAZER ON AND IT CAME BACK ON IN ABOUT 10 MINUTES. WE READ ONLINE THAT OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE TRAILBLAZER SS ARE HAVING THIS ISSUES AND THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE SENSOR AND THEY ARE GETTING THEIRS REPLACED. I TALKED TO AUTONATION CHEVROLET AND CAMP CHEVROLET HERE IN SPOKANE, WA AND THEY BOTH HAVE HEARD OF THE RECALL AND THE ISSUE BUT SINCE IT WON'T SHOW UP UNDER MY VIN NUMBER THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE RECALL. AFTER FUELING THE VEHICLE WITH 12 GALLONS OF GAS, (FILLING IT UP FROM HALF A TANK) THE FUEL GAUGE READ EMPTY AND THE OUT OF FUEL / LOW FUEL INDICATOR LIGHT WAS ON. THE VEHICLE STALLED TWICE WHILE IN TRAFFIC DRIVING IT HOME, BUT DID NOT RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT AS TRAFFIC WAS LIGHT AT THE TIME. AFTER CALLING THE DEALERSHIP THEY TOLD ME THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM THAT HAPPENS EVERY 50K MILES "GIVE OR TAKE" AND THAT I NEED TO HAVE MY FUEL LEVEL SENSOR AND FUEL PUMP REPLACED. IN LOOKING ONLINE, I FIND THAT THIS IS INDEED A VERY COMMON PROBLEM THAT HAS RESULTED IN CRASHES AND OTHER SAFETY ISSUES AND HAS BEEN IGNORED BY GM AND THE NHTSA FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW DESPITE THE CONSTANTLY GROWING NUMBER OF CLAIMS. THE PROBLEM STARTED ON WEDNESDAY JANUARY 21, 2015; I STARTED MY CAR UP TO LET IT WARM UP WHILE I DUSTED OFF THE SNOW. I NOTICE MY HEATED SEATS WERE NOT WORKING. I TURNED THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTED IT. AFTER 50,000 MILES GAS TANK SENSOR STOPS WORKING. THEREFORE THE GAS LIGHT REMAINS LIT EVEN WHEN TANK IS FULL - THIS ALSO CAUSES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON (RESULTING IN A FAILED INSPECTION). UNDER A PREVIOUS RECALL THE DEALER REPLACED A PART IN THE FUEL TANK AND TRIED TO SELL US A FUEL PUMP AT THE SAME TIME. MY WIFE NOW TELLS ME THAT SINCE THIS SERVICE SHE HAS OCCASIONALLY SMELLED GASOLINE INSIDE THE VEHICLE AND AT TIMES QUITE STRONG. AT FIRST SHE THOUGHT IT WAS THE FUMES FROM OTHER VEHICLES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR AN UNRELATED REPAIR WHEN THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE FUEL TANK WAS FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE WAS PROVIDING INACCURATE FUEL LEVEL READINGS. AS A RESULT, THE VEHICLE STALLED WHILE THE CONTACT WAS TRAVELING 45 MPH. THE CONTACT HAD TO SET THE MILEAGE TO ZERO IN ORDER TO DETERMINE HOW MUCH FUEL WAS IN THE VEHICLE AND HOW MANY MILES SHE COULD TRAVEL BEFORE RUNNING OUT OF FUEL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER TO HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000 AND THE APPROXIMATE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 65,000.

WIFE FILLED TRAILBLAZER WITH FUEL DURING A TRIP TODAY. WHEN SHE RETURNED TO VEHICLE AND STARTED IT LOW GAS LIGHT ON GAUGE CLUSTER LIT AND FUEL GAUGE WENT TO ZERO. VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED AT 11,000 MILES AND GAS LEVEL HAS NEVER BEEN ALLOWED TO FALL BELOW 1/4 OF A TANK SO AS TO PREVENT FUEL PUMP OVERHEATING AND FAILURE, HENCE, THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON. *TR
FUEL GAUGE STOPPED WORKING. AT FIRST IT DROPPED TO EMPTY, AND STAYED THERE FOR ABOUT 15 MILES. AFTER DRIVING FOR ABOUT 15 MILES THE GAUGE WOULD SLOWLY RETURN TO THE CORRECT FUEL LEVEL. OVER TIME, THE PROBLEM WORSENED, AS IT STARTED TAKING LONGER AND LONGER FOR THE GAUGE TO RECOVER TO THE CORRECT LEVEL. NOW IT STAYS ON EMPTY NEARLY PERMANENTLY, ONLY OCCASIONALLY REGISTERING SOME FUEL AT STARTUP AND QUICKLY DROPPING TO EMPTY AGAIN. *TR
FILL THE CAR UP AND THE GAUGE STILL SHOW EMPTY AND THE LIGHT WAS ON, WHEN I PULLED IN TO THE GAS STATION THE LOW FUEL LIGHT WASN'T ON AND I HAD A 8TH OF A TANK BUT WHEN I FILLED IT UP IT DIDN'T REGISTER AND THE LIGHT WAS ON I DROVE AROUND FOR COUPLE OF DAYS AND PUT $40.00 IN AND THE LIGHT WAS ON AND GAUGE SHOW EMPTY . TO ME THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE IF I RAN OUT OF GAS AND SOMEONE RUNS INTO ME I SHOULD NOT PAY 50% CHEVY SHOULD PAY FOR IT TO REPLACE IT. *TR
MY FUEL GAUGE QUIT REGISTERING HOW MUCH FUEL I HAVE IN MY TANK, AND AS A RESULT I HAVE TO STOP AND FILL MY TANK MORE OFTEN THAN NEEDED SO THAT I DONT RUN OUT OF GAS (WHICH HAS HAPPENED). I ALSO RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE MFG THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF THE ISSUE, HOWEVER BECAUSE IT IS NOT SAFETY CONCERN THEY WOULD ONLY COVER 50% OF THE COST TO FIX THE ISSUE. LAST TIME I CHECKED RUNNING OUT OF FUEL IS A SAFTEY ISSUE, NOT JUST TO THE PERSON DRIVING THE VEHICLE BUT TO OTHERS THAT MAY BE DRIVING BEHIND SAID VEHICLE THAT RUNS OUT OF FUEL. I HAVE NOT FIXED THIS ISSUE AS I DONT FEEL LIKE I SHOULD HAVE TOO, I FEEL THAT GM SHOULD PAY TO HAVE THESE ISSUES FIXED. *TR

AFTER REFUELING THE GAS GAUGE STILL READ EMPTY, BOUNCED UP AND DOWN, GAS GAUGE LIGHT CAME ON, SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT CAME ON, PULLED OVER, TURNED OFF CAR, TURNED ON CAR- SAME THING - HAS HAPPENED WITH EVERY REFUELING SINCE. ON NOVEMBER 16,2012 I STOPPED TO GET GAS. AFTER GETTING GAS MY LOW FUEL LIGHT WAS ON AND THE FUEL GAUGE REGISTERED AS IF THE VEHICLE WAS OUT OF GAS. HAVING KNOWN BETTER I STARTED THE VEHICLE WHICH HESITATED TO START. IT FINALLY STARTED BUT SPUTTERED ITS WAY OUT OF THE GAS STATION. AS I FINALLY CLEARED THE GAS STATION THE VEHICLE STALLED AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP WITHOUT ANY WARNING AND I WAS HIT FROM BEHIND. *TR
INITIALLY THE FUEL GAUGE BEGAN FLUCTUATING AND WORKING INTERMITTENTLY. THEN, IT STOPPED WORKING ALL TOGETHER. IT ALWAYS SAYS THE VEHICLE IS ON EMPTY WITH THE GAS LIGHT AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYING ON 90% OF THE TIME. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING BECAUSE IF THERE WERE A PROBLEM WITH THE ENGINE, I WOULD HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING WHETHER THE LIGHT IS ON DUE TO THE FUEL SENSOR OR BECAUSE OF ANOTHER MORE SERIOUS ISSUE. THE TRUCK HAS BEEN AT A SEVERAL TIMES INTO A CHEVORLET DEALER, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT THE REDUCED ENGINE LIGHT AND THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS ALL COME ON AT THE SAME TIME AND IT CAUSES A FAILURE IN WHICH THE VEHICLE LOSSES 90% OF POWER .
