The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V248000 (Electrical System, Visibility). The contact stated that on several occasions while the vehicle was running or while driving at various speeds, the passenger's window switch was depressed from the driver's side door panel, and there was a clicking sound coming from the front passenger’s side of the vehicle, and the window failed to roll up or roll down. Additionally, the contact stated that on several occasions, when the driver's side window switch was depressed, the window failed to roll up or roll down. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. Parts distribution disconnect.

Several months ago, I was at a fast food drive up window. I had my drivers side window down while paying for my food and receiving my food. It was down pouring and the inside of my door got pretty wet. I wiped off the rain as best as I could but everything was soaked. The very next day the drivers side door controls started to go haywire. The window button stopped working and my door locks only worked occasionally until they stopped working all together. My side mirrors can no longer be adjusted from the drivers seat. I have to get out of the vehicle and manually adjust both driver and passenger side mirrors. TWO DIFFERENT TIMES WITHIN 1YR THE HEATER BLOWER MOTOR RELAY HAS GOTTEN HOT ENOUGH TO MELT THE CONNECTOR AND BURN OUT THE RELAY, CONNECTOR REPLACED TWICE AND CURRENTLY MELTING AGAIN AS FAN SPEED 1, 4, AND 5 HAVE AGAIN STOPPED WORKING. HEATER BLOWER MOTOR ALSO REPLACED TWICE CONCURRENT WITH RELAY.

WHEN I AM DRIVING MY LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS JUST GO COMPLETE OUT WITHOUT WARNING. THIS HAPPENS ANYWHERE FROM 15 MINUTES TO 45 MINUTES OF DRIVING. MY BRIGHT LIGHTS WILL WORK BUT NOT THE LOW BEAM. THEN SEVERAL HOURS AFTER I HAVE STOPPED DRIVING THEY WORK AGAIN. I UNDERSTAND THERE WAS A RECALL ON MULTIPLE YEARS FOR THIS PROBLEM WITH THE TRAILBLAZERS INCLUDING 2006 WHICH IS MY VEHICLE HOWEVER I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION. ON 7/9/15 I BROUGHT MY 2006 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER (PURCHASED USED IN OCTOBER OF 2013) TO MY MECHANIC AT MIDAS MUFFLER IN BANGOR DUE TO AN ISSUE I WAS HAVING FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS REGARDING THE ELECTRIC WINDOW/DOOR LOCK ON THE DRIVERS SIDE WHEREAS I HAVE BEEN INTERMITTENTLY UNABLE TO ROLL MY WINDOWS UP OR DOWN AND I HAVE BEEN LOCKED IN MY VEHICLE AND UNABLE TO GET OUT THREE TIMES.
