TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE NOTICED A SMALL LEAK COMING FROM THE RADIATOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO JEFF SCHMITT CHEVROLET SOUTH (125 S GEBHART CHURCH RD, MIAMISBURG, OH 45342) AND IT WAS STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS ON THE VEHICLE. THE MECHANIC REFUSED TO LOOK AT THE RADIATOR. THE CONTACT REMINDED THE DEALER THAT TSB #: P1513F DESCRIBED THE SAME SYMPTOMS AS THE ISSUE HOWEVER, THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT A MATCH FOR THE TSB. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ISSUE WAS THAT THE THERMOSTAT CAUSED THE RADIATOR TO THERMO-CYCLE OR QUICKLY COOL AND HEAT UP CAUSING THE RADIATOR TO LEAK. THE MANUFACTURER REFERRED THE CONTACT TO THE NHTSA. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,680.
