The contact stated that the vehicle was consuming 2-3 quarts of oil every 5,000 miles driven. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that there would be a charge for an oil consumption test. The contact declined to pay a fee for the oil consumption test. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
