Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2019 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon cold starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the engine. There was no warning light illuminated. Upon investigation, the contact discovered that the failure was likely related to the cam phasers. The dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 55,300.
