Consumer Description
The contact owns a 2017 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, she heard a rattling sound coming from under the hood of the vehicle. The vehicle was then taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the flex plate had cracked and needed to be replaced. The contact stated that she received notice of Customer Satisfaction Program: 22N122. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that mileage had exceeded the mileage for coverage and then advised to contact the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 131,636.
