NHTSA Complaint #11521110 — 2019 FORD FLEX

The contact owns a 2019 Ford Flex. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving approximately 20 MPH, the traction control warning light illuminated, and the vehicle became difficult to steer. The contact met his daughter who had pulled over to the side of the road to inspect the vehicle. The contact noticed that both rear tires were toed outward. The rear passenger’s side tire was toed out more than the driver’s side. The vehicle was towed to the dealer but was not yet diagnosed. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,700.
