Consumer Description

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Escape. The contact stated that after parking and turning off the vehicle, the vehicle failed to restart. The battery was later replaced but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who indicated that the failure was due to an unspecified electrical failure and advised that the vehicle be serviced at an authorized Ford dealer. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 80,000.
