Consumer Description

Car detected low coolant and coolant was added two days in row. On second day the coolant was gone and car warned of high engine temperature, it stopped accelerating and warned to pull over safely while going 75mph on a freeway. Once checked, coolant was completely out and refilled again. Took to a Ford Dealership where had to pay for diagnostic because the Recall for the coolant issue was "Fixed" in 2019. Cause was determined that all the coolant flowed into Cylinder 3 leaving car with only 3 cylinders. Car won't go over 40 mph, and Ford wants thousands to fix an issue that they recalled for. They masked the problem until the car is literally unusable.
