Consumer Description
The contact called on behalf of his wife who owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact stated while his wife was attempting to reverse the vehicle out of the parking lot, the steering wheel was difficult to turn. The power steering assist warning light was illuminated. The driver shifted into drive(D) and pulled forward to park the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V632000 (Steering). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 46,000.
