NHTSA Complaint #11718796 — 2015 FORD EDGE

The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while in reverse(R), the rearview camera image was delayed while being displayed. Additionally, the camera remained displayed while shifted out of reverse(R). The contact received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Numbers: 25V572000 (Back Over Prevention) and 25V544000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic); however, the parts for the recall repairs were not yet available. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 132,000.
