Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 MAZDA CX-5. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BATTERY FAILED AND CAUSED SEVERAL SENSORS TO FAIL, INCLUDING THE TIRE AND PARKING BRAKE SENSORS, AS WELL AS THE COMPUTER SETTINGS. THE CONTACT WAS NOT AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE. THE BRAKE SENSOR FAILURE CAUSED THE REAR BRAKE PADS TO SMOKE. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO SUSSMAN MAZDA (1606 EASTON ROAD, WILLOW GROVE, PA 19090, (215) 887-1601) WHERE THE DEALER REPLACED ALL THE FAILED SENSORS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000.
