TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME STIFF AND DIFFICULT TO CONTROL. ALSO, THE HILL START ASSIST/NOT AVAILABLE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. GRIFFITH FORD SAN MARCOS (2661 INTERSTATE 35 FRONTAGE RD, SAN MARCOS, TX 78666, (888) 690-5431) DIAGNOSED THAT THE STEERING GEAR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 107,000.
