TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FORD EDGE. WHILE DRIVING UNKNOWN SPEEDS AND WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE LIFTGATE WOULD NOT CLOSE AND THE LIFTGATE WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER (FORD OF KIRKLAND LOCATED AT 11800 124TH AVE NE KIRKLAND, WA 98034 888-902-1374) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT IT WAS A DESIGN FLAW. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER DECLINED TO REPURCHASE THE VEHICLE AND OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,259. *TR
