2023 RAM 1500 Fuelpropulsion System Problems

THE AUTO START STOP HAS MALFUNCTIONED 3 TIMES IN THE LAST MONTH WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE WHOLE TRUCK GOES INTO STOP MODE THE 1ST 2 TIMES I WAS AT A STPOP SIGN SO IT JUST MADE THE PEOPLE BEHIND ME MAD THIS LAST TIME I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT WHERE THE SPEED LIMIT IS 55MPH THE LIGHT TURNED GREEEN AND THE TRUCK SHUP OFF TURNED ON THE EMERGENY BRAKE AND WOULD NOT MOVE. I PUSHED AS MANY BUTTONS AS I COULD THE PROBLEM WAS I SAW A SEMI COMING IN MY REAR VIEW MIRROR AND NOW THE LIGHT IS GREEN AND I'M NOT MOVING THIS IS A VERYSCARY THING

Two occurrences where the vehicle stalls when accelerating from a stop, shifts into park, and applies the parking brake. I believe this is the same issue as the PE24018 investigation.

I bought a 2023 Ram 1500 brand new off the lot and the vehicle is only less than 3 years old. I was hoping the with me buying a brand new Ram that I would not have a major issue such as the fuel pump failing which caused me to pay $1809.64 out of pocket cost on a practically new vehicle. The fuel pump and the control module were both faulty with the dealer findings. With only 1000 miles over warranty, I think that this does not make since for such a major issue with a practically new vehicle that is not cover under the powertrain warranty. The vehicle has been taken in for regular maintenance. I would appreciate a refund of the amount paid to cover my loss

Ran over tripod laying in road it flipped up slicing a hole in fuel tank. Tank has no metal cover to protect from road hazzards such as metal striking plastic tank resulting in a hole in fuel tank

Motor stalled while moving. Transmission automatically went into park , emergency brake was applied all before it came to a full stop. Took to dealership and code P032F came up . When serviced dealership said they can’t find anything wrong.Ram had the same problem with the V8 and came up with a update. Nothing available for the 3.6 L

Driving down the freeway, with no previous issues at 80MPH. Next thing the truck stalls and won't restart. Vehicle jumped and runs when connected stops immediately once unjumped. Replaced battery at 51,000 miles and vehicle runs fine. Concern is the alternator is not strong enough to power the vehicle if the battery dies for mysterious reasons.

Vehicle shuts off and engine stalls at slow speeds, then applies electronic e brake for no reason. I have seen multiple reports online for same issue. Then voltage drops until restarting Vehicle which then resets. Went to dealership and they have found code p032f with no fix.

TRUCK WILL STALL. TRUCK PARKING BRAKES INGAGE. THEN TRUCK BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON. HAVE TO RESTART TRUCK. TAKE OFF PARKING BRAKE. WHEN YOUUCAN GET OUT OF TRAFFIC MUST TURN OFF THEN ON TO REMOVE BATTERY LIGHT THAT IS ON

Truck stalls and immediately goes into park and throwing trucks parking brake on. While driving on the road and in traffic.

Started vehicle up cold. Drove two miles. Stopped at stop sign for a few seconds, then pull out onto highway. Vehicle stalled and would not accelerate; engine still barely running but no power. Pulled on to shoulder. Vehicle seem to correct it self after about 30 seconds.

I brought the 'new to me' truck to the dealership 2 weeks after purchase to address a known recall and a Customer Satisfaction Notification. The latter related to the PCM software to address an issue of staling (08A). No problems were experienced before the service nor were any services noted on the Carfax for stalling before purchase. Four days after the recall and Customer Satisfaction Notice were addressed, I approached a stop sign with intentions to turn right. I slowed, but not to a complete stop, as I could see that no one was approaching from either direction and rolled thru the stop. I took my foot off the gas as I slowed (guessing to 3 mph) and applied the brake to make the turn when the engine stalled and engaged the parking brake and flashers. While making a slow left turn the truck stalled without warning almost causing an accident with oncoming traffic. Once the truck stalled, I wasn't able to accelerate, and the car slowly rolled across two lanes of oncoming traffic. Once the car came to a stop the emergency brake engaged. I was able to put the car in Park and restart and disengage the emergency brake. If the other cars hadn't stopped in time this could easily been a fatal accident for me and my family.

Accelerating from a stop, turning hard right, engine shut off without warning. Vehicle steering seemed unaffected, emergency brake engaged without warning, dash read “apply brake and push start button”- the standard start up message upon entering when parked and engine off. No other indicator lights. Vehicle restarted by applying break and pushing start button. Vehicle lurched mildly when starting engine. Happened approximately 1435, temp around 95 F, daily driver vehicle, driven that am without issue. The remainder of the 10 minute drive, the battery indicator light would come on with a chime. Indicator would remain on around 10-20 seconds and turn off. Battery warning light came off and on at least 8 times within 10 minutes. Vehicle ran without issue aside from battery warning light. Parked for 9 hours and drove home without incident or warning lights.
