Ignition,key fob will not correctly start engine. Engine dies going down the road , will not stay running after you start engine it just dies and kicks the key fob out to the floor. Trying to retrieve the fob and restarting the engine, and not crashing is a serious problem. Have nearly been in major crashes because of this .
While driving my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, the key fob (FOBIK) has fallen out of the ignition while actively driving. The key can be removed from the ignition while actively driving with little to no effort. Upon this happening, the vehicle sometimes remains fully operable, at times it remains driving but looses speedometer, wipers, heat/ac, running/brake lights and turn signals, or the vehicle will completely shut off, losing all function and drivability to include power steering. In one instance, the vehicle remained driving but lost wipers and lights during a night time storm. On another occasion, the vehicle lost all drivability traveling at a high rate of speed at night with traffic on a highway in a rural area with no streetlights. WIN module failure. When driving down the road/highway, the vehicle will turn off with no warning of any problems. The key can be removed while the vehicle is still running. The vehicle will start up with the key cranked diagonally but when released the vehicle dies making it more difficult to start the vehicle after it dies while driving down the road/highway. When a bump is hit in the road the key moves and the vehicle dies. We have spoken to the local Dodge dealership who confirmed that it is a WIN module issue while servicing the vehicle due to other recalls as well as several locksmiths.
My husband was driving about 20mls per hrs when our truck cought fire the whole front of our truct cought fire. The front mirror and everything if distroit due to the fire .
Wireless ignition module fails and will stall out the engine. This can happen at speed or stopped. Wireless ignition module will intermittently fail and cause a loss of power at speed causing no power steering or power brakes
My 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 shuts off without warning. The incident frequently happens when I am driving at city speeds. If I am turning, the vehicle shuts off, and the power steering also cuts off, causing problems turning the steering wheel. When I am driving straight, there are no warning lights on the dashboard, and the vehicle shuts down. This is very dangerous while going.
Charging system failure at pcm causing low voltage and battery will not charge causing the vehicle to become disabled. I was on the interstate battery light came Om with system Low voltage code for engine light. The truck shut off and I was left without power steering or brakes. doing 75mph. Voltage regulator is in pcm and pcm needs replaced. Vehicle is still out of commission
The truck has shut down completely while turning into busy intersections and crossing highways we have been lucky to have been not hit by oncoming traffic. You have to put the truck in park and restart the vehicle. It has been to the dealership in the past and couldn’t be replicated. It shows no faults just shuts off for no reason this has happened 5 times in 3 months, 8 in a year,
When going to start the vehicle, the key fob has to be turned multiple times. I have had the key reinstalled by a lock Smith. He stated this issue is common with the dodge key fobs. This could be a safety issue if you were to be somewhere in the woods or such and your vehicle did not start.

THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN UNKNOWN DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH THE WIRELESS IGNITION NODE NEEDING TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT RELATED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V200000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN INFORMED OF THE FAILURE BUT INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 53,200.

ADDITIONALLY, ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO COLUMBUS CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (2806 23RD ST, COLUMBUS, NE 68601) WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH A DEFECTIVE ENGINE SWITCH. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 122,000. *BF*JB

AFTER MOVING THE KEY AROUND IN THE IGNITION FOR A WHILE THE VEHICLE STARTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO THE DEALER NOR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,900.
I CAN REMOVE MY KEY FOBE FROM THE IGNITION WHILE VEHICLE IS STILL RUNNING. ALSO VEHICLE WILL SHUT DOWN WHILE IM DRIVING WITH ANY SLIGHT BUMP. I KNOW OTHER DODGES HAVE THIS IGNITION PROBLEM AND ARE ON A RECALK BUT MY TRUCK SEEMS TO BE THE ONE THAT WAS LEFT OUT OF THAT RECALL WHICH DOESNT MAKE SENSE.. ITS A SAFTEY ISSUE THAT SHOULD BE RECALLED ON ALL IMPACTED VEHICLES.

"KEY DAMAGE" WORDS COME UP ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE TRUCK WILL NOT START. KEY BATTERIES WERE REPLACED AND THE VEHICLE STILL WANT START.
WHILE I WAS DRIVING 30 MPH ON A CITY STREET, MY TRUCK TURNED OFF UNEXPECTEDLY AND DISABLED THE POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKING MAKING IT VERY DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER. I DID NOTATE THE THROTTLE CONTROL WARNING LIGHT DID COME ON. THIS HAPPENED TO ME AGAIN IN A PARKING GARAGE WHILE I WAS LEAVING, AGAIN DISABLING THE POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKING, THOUGH I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH NOT TO HIT ANY CARS WHILE I WAS TURNING. MY IGNITION SWITCH 'WIN' MODULE NOW ACTS UP OCCASIONALLY AND THE TRUCK WILL TURN OVER FOR A SECOND, AND THEN IMMEDIATELY TURN OFF. I BELIEVE THE ROOT CAUSE IS THE WIN MODULE. PLEASE REFERENCE RECALL # 11V139000 AND 10V200000 AS THIS EXACTLY DESCRIBES HOW MY TRUCK WAS IN MOTION AND WAS SHUT OFF DUE TO A WIN MODULE DEFECT.
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON A 50 MPH FRONTAGE ROAD AND DECELERATING TO TURN ON A SIDE STREET, THE TRUCK STALLED SUDDENLY AT THE APEX OF THE TURN, GAVE A WARNING SOUND AND A MESSAGE FLASHED ON THE DASHBOARD SCREEN STATING "LOW OIL PRESSURE". NO OTHER LIGHTS CAME ON AND NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR CODE WAS STORED IN THE COMPUTER. WHEN THE ENGINE STALLED I LOST POWER BRAKES, POWER STEERING AND (OBVIOUSLY) ENGINE POWER. THE ENGINE RESTARTED EASILY WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PLACED IN NEUTRAL. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES, SOME AT THE SAME LOCATION OR LOCATIONS WITH SIMILAR SPEED/DECELERATION/TURNING CONDITIONS. THE DEALERSHIP IS UNABLE TO RECREATE THE STALL AND THUS UNABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I HAVE CONTACTED THEM 2 TIMES AND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THEM ONCE. THEY ONLY OFFERED A SERIES OF PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCES LIKE CLEANING THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.

ELECTRICAL ISSUES HAVE BEEN PREVALENT SINCE THE DATE OF PURCHASE IN 2013. MUST BE A SHORT IN THE ENTIRE TRUCK SOMEWHERE. MY LIGHTS ON THE PASSENGER MIRROR BLINK ALL THE TIME WHILE RUNNING AND OR OPENING THE DOOR. HUBS/CV AXLES HAVE HAD TO REPLACE BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE 3 TIMES EACH NOW. THIS VEHICLE IN NOT USED AND ABUSED. I TAKE CARE OF IT WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE. I HAVE HEARD FROM OTHERS WHO OWN SAME YEAR MODEL AND HAVE SEEN ONLINE ON FORUMS OTHERS HAVE HAD THESE ISSUES ALSO. THIS CAUSES THE CV, HUBS, AND ROTORS/BRAKES TO BE REPLACED.
TURN MY TRUCK ON WENT TO STORE AND TRIED TO SHUT IT OFF AND COULDN'T. IT RAN FOR 3 HRS BEFORE I DISCONNECTED THE WIRELESS IGNITION NODE

ONCE THE KEY WAS REMOVED, THE ENGINE CONTINUED TO OPERATE AND CAUSED THE BATTERY TO DRAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V200000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 RAM 1500. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TURNED OFF WITH THE KEY REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION, THE ENGINE DID NOT SHUT OFF. IN ADDITION, THE SHIFTER WAS ABLE TO CHANGE GEARS WITHOUT THE KEY IN THE IGNITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GALEANA'S VAN DYKE DODGE (28400 VAN DYKE AVE, WARREN, MI 48093), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 104,000.
MY TRUCK HAS ISSUES WITH ALL THE ACTUATORS FOR HEATING AND COOLING. IT DOES IT RIGHT WHEN U START IT UP, AND ALSO WHILE YOUR DRIVING. I CAN'T SWITCH FAN MODES, I HAVE NO DEFROST SINCE THEY WON'T SWITCH. THE ONE ACTUATOR THAT MIGHT BE WORKING STAYS CLICKING. I KNOW THEY HAD A RECALL ON THIS (K-17) THERE SAYING IT DOES NOT APPLY TO MY VIN,BUT CLEARLY IT'S DOING THE SAME THING AS THE RECALL.
HAVE TO JIGGLE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION TO GET THE ENGINE TO START. HAVE HAD THE ENGINE SHUT OFF WHILE GOING DOWN THE ROAD USUALLY WHEN HITTING A BUMP OR TURNING AND HAVE TO PULL OVER, PUT THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK AND JIGGLE THE KEY AND RESTART THE ENGINE.

THIS TRUCK SHUTS OFF WHEN HITTING BUMPS OR IF YOU JIGGLE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION CREATING AN UNSAFE CONDITION AT LOW AND HIGH SPEED SHUT-OFFS. THE REPAIR REQUIRED THE WIN MODULE TO BE REPLACED. THE WIN MODULE REPLACEMENT WAS REQUIRED ON ANOTHER SAFETY RECALL FOR OTHER DODGE RAM 1500S, BUT NOT THIS ONE. THE WIN MODULE RECALL NEEDS TO BE EXPANDED TO ADDITIONAL DODGE RAM UNITS. ALSO, THIS SAME PROBLEM WAS PART OF A RECALL ON 2009 DODGE JOURNEYS. THE SHUTOFF PROBLEM SPANS SEVERAL DODGE MODELS WITH THIS TYPE OF IGNITION. I WILL BE SUBMITTING A SECOND COMPLAINT FOR ANOTHER 2010 DODGE RAM WITH THE SAME SAFETY SHUT-OFF PROBLEM..

THIS VEHICLE HAS A BINDING WIRELESS IGNITION MODULE (WIN) RESULTING IN A CONDITION WHERE THE KEY MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH PRIOR TO PLACING THE SHIFTER IN PARK. EXACTLY THE SAME AS NHTSA RECALL REFERENCE #10V200000. THIS VEHICLE SIMPLY DOES NOT HAVE THE MATCHING PART NUMBERS OF THE RECALL. BUT EXACTLY THE SAME THING HAPPENED AND WIRELESS IGNITION NODE (WIN) NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.

IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE STALLED MULTIPLE TIMES AND, WHILE COASTING, THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO PLACE THE VEHICLE IN NEUTRAL TO BE RESTARTED. A DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIN MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE DEALER HAD THE VEHICLE FOR WEEKS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF THE DEALER WOULD TO PROVIDE A NEWLY DESIGNED PART OR IF THE SAME PART WOULD BE REPLACED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,000.
ROCKER PANELS ARE RUSTING FROM THE INSIDE OUT. CAUSING LARGE HOLES TO FORM. WHILE IN PARK, ROLLED THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW DOWN HEARD A METAL CLANK AND THE WINDOW WOULD NO LONGER GO UP OR DOWN, AS THE WINDOW REGULATOR FELL APART. WHILE DRIVING ON A COUNTRY ROAD, I NOTICED SLIGHT DIFFICULTY IN SHIFTING. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. UPON HAVING THE CODE READ, THE TRANSMISSION SELENOID IS STUCK OPEN. TIE ROD ENDS ARE LOOSENING AS WELL. SO MANY ISSUES ON A 6 YEAR OLD VEHICLE
DODGE FOBIK, MY TRUCK USES THE SAME IGNITION SWITCH AS THE JOURNEY, AND WHILE DRIVING MY TRUCK WILL SHUT OFF WITHOUT MOVING THE SWITCH. BUMPS SHUT MY TRUCK OFF, THIS SWITCH IS RIDICULOUSLY DANGEROUS. I WISH IT WAS A NORMAL SWITCH. IT HAS SHUT OFF 4 TIMES THIS WEEK, IF YOU TOUCH THE KEY IT SHUTS OFF. IT IS NOT A SAFE SYSTEM. IT STARTED THIS VERY INTERMITTENTLY WHEN MY FATHER OWNED THE TRUCK AT 53K MILES.

HORNS BEGAN HONKING RANDOMLY WHEN THE TRUCK WAS OFF AND NO ONE WAS IN IT OR WHILE IT WAS BEING DRIVEN. AT ONE TIME THEY BEGAN HONKING WHILE IN TRAFFIC CAUSING PANIC TO THE SURROUNDING TRAVELERS. I HAD TO DISCONNECT THEM WHICH NOW POSES A SAFETY RISK TO ME AND MY FAMILY. DEALER SAYS IT IS THE TIPM WHICH CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF AND HAS IT SHE RECALLS ON OTHER MODELS WITH THE SAME CONFIGURATION AS MY TRUCK. NOW THE TRUCK HAS TO BE INSPECTED FOR SAFETY TO KEEP THE LICENSE PLATES CORRECT AND IT WILL NOT PASS WITHOUT PERFORMING A $1200 REPAIR ON A PART THAT IS KNOWN TO BE DEFECTIVE. ALSO, THE FUEL PUMPS STOPPED WORKING AND WERE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY BUT THE TECHNICIAN SAID THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE POME BUT THE TECHNICIAN SAID THE PROBLEM WAS IN THE PUMP IN FACT IT WAS THE TIPM BUT...
2010 DODGE RAM 1500 HEMI TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED WHEN INSTANTLY THE GAUGE CLUSTER STARTED ACTING ERRATIC. FIRST THE TIRE PRESSURE DISPLAY SAID THAT DIFFERENT TIRES WERE SHOWING A MULTITUDE OF DIFFERENT PRESSURES THE GAS GAUGE STARTED FLICKERING BETWEEN FULL AND EMPTY AS WELL AS THE STOP WORKING OF THE SPEEDOMETER AND TACHOMETER AIR-CONDITIONED, POWER STEERING AND CONTINUAL WINDSHIELD WIPER ON EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE OFF AT THE SWITCH. RADIO INTERMITTENTLY ON AND OFF AND ABS AND AIRBAG LIGHT ON AND OFF INTERMITTENTLY. ALL FOUR WINDOWS FAIL TO OPERATE AND INTERIOR LIGHTING WILL NOT COME ON. GAUGE FUNCTION FLUCTUATES EVERY COUPLE SECOND.
BINDING CONDITION IN WIN MODULE RESULTS IN KEY FALLING OUT WHILE TRUCK IS RUNNING. CHRYSLER ISSUED RECALL 10V200000, BUT NOT ALL AFFECTED VEHICLES WERE COVERED. THE VIN NUMBER FOR MY TRUCK WAS NOT INCLUDED, EVEN THOUGH CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM.

WHILE DRIVING ON INTERSTATE TO WORK IN MORNING MY TRUCK HIT A BUMP IN HIGHWAY AT 65 MPH AND SHUT COMPLETELY OFF. I LOST STEERING AND BRAKES. WHILE COASTING I SHIFTED THE TRANSMISSION TO NEUTRAL AND RE-STARTED THE ENGINE AND WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE. SINCE THEN I HAVE HAD MULTIPLE ISSUES AT DIFFERENT TIMES. THE MOST RECENT YESTERDAY SEPTEMBER 23RD 2015 WHILE TURNING ONTO MAIN AVENUE AS I WAS ACCELERATING THE CAR COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN AS I WAS TURNING IN ADVANCE OF AN ON-COMING VEHICLE. AGAIN, I WENT TO NEAUTRAL AND RE-IGNITED THE ENGINE. THIS IS A MAJOR CONCERN. I DO NOT HAVE HEAVY KEYS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS AND TAIL LIGHTS WOULD NOT WORK. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V038000 (POWER TRAIN), BUT THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL NEEDED TO BE CONTINUOUSLY PRESSED TO MOVE THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE RESTARTED INDEPENDENTLY; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000. MA 10/5 *CN
THE REMOTE IGNITION MODULE HAS FAILED AND THERE IS NO START, NO POWER TO IGNITION SWITCH, VEHICLE WILL NOT START THE FOB COMES OUT OF THE IGNITION, WHEN IN THE RUN POSITION, AND SHORTS OUT THE MAIN FUSE PANEL UNDER THE HOOD.
IGNITION TURNS OFF VEHICLE LOSES ALL POWER, LOSS OF STEERING AND BRAKES, I HAVE TO WAIT FOR VEHICLE TWO COME TO A STOP PLACE A NEUTRAL AND RESTART DEALER HAS NO IDEA WHY THIS HAPPENS ALSO FRONT TIRE RODS KEEPS COMING LOOSE, I HAD FRONT END REPAIRED SEVERAL TIMES
THE STEERING WHEEL POPS AND CLICKS WHEN TURNING AND WILL SUDDENLY CHANGES LANES.WHEN PUTTING IT IN PARK THE GEAR SHIFT WILL NOT ALLOW THE KEY TO COME OUT OF THE IGNITION SWITCH.THE RAM 1500 SHOULD HAVE A STEERING RECALL JUST LIKE THE REST OF THEM THEY USE THE SAME PARTS.
TIPM COMPUTER FAILURE CAUSED AIRBAG LIGHT TO ARM. HAVE HAD THREE TIPMS INSTALLED FOR TRANSFER CASE TROUBLES LAST SEVERAL MONTHS.
WHEN I TRIED TO START THE TRUCK, NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE WAS NO DASH LIGHTS, COULD NOT EVEN PUT THE TRUCK IN ANOTHER GEAR TO TRY AND MAKE SOMETHING HAPPEN. I COULD TURN THE KEY TO ON BUT NOTHING WOULD WORK. WINDOWS, DASH LIGHTS. IT WAS AS IF THERE WAS NO BATTERY. WHEN I WAS GETTING OUT OF THE TRUCK TO CHECK THE BATTERY, ALL THE DASH LIGHTS CAME ON AND EVERYTHING SEEMED TO WORK AND THE TRUCK STARTED RIGHT UP AND DROVE OK. THIS HAPPENED A FEW WEEKS EARLIER SO I REPLACED THE BATTERY BECAUSE IT WAS FIVE YEARS OLD. IT HAD THE SAME EXACT CONDITIONS AS BEFORE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE KEY FAILED TO STAY LOCKED IN THE IGNITION WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY OR IN MOTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHERE IT WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED THE SAME MALFUNCTION LISTED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V373000 (AIR BAGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). HOWEVER, THE VIN NUMBER WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,186.
THE HVAC SYSTEM IN THE TRUCK FAILED. AIR WILL NOT FLOW THROUGH THE DASH FACE VENTS OR DEFROST VENTS. BROUGHT TO DEALER FOR REPAIR. DEALER SAID THAT ONE OR TWO "MODE DOOR ACTUATORS NEED TO BE REPLACED" THEY SAID THE DASH BOARD NEEDED TO BE REMOVED AND IT COULD COST SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS. UPON RESEARCHING THE PROBLEM I FOUND THERE WAS A RECALL ISSUED FOR THE MODE DOOR ACTUATORS AND TO REPROGRAM THE CONTROL HEAD SOFTWARE (K17). MY TRUCK HAD THE SOFTWARE UPDATE IN 2012. THE DEALER REFUSED TO REPLACE THE MODE DOOR ACTUATORS UNDER RECALL BECAUSE THEY SAID THE SOFTWARE UPDATE WAS PERFORMED. I CALLED CHRYSLER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ASKED ABOUT THE K17 RECALL. THEY SAID THEY WILL NOT COVER THE REPAIR BECAUSE I REFUSED FURTHER DIAGNOSTICS. THE ONLY OTHER DIAGNOSTICS THE DEALER SAID NEEDED TO BE DONE WAS TO REMOVE THE DASHBOARD TO SEE IF IT WAS ONE...
APPROXIMATELY A YEAR AGO I BEGAN EXPERIENCING LIGHTING PROBLEMS, FLICKERING ALL AROUND; AND WITH TRUCK OFF THE REMOTE WOULD RANDOMLY, CONTINUOUSLY LOCK THE DOORS. I FINALLY BROKE THE REMOTE TO MAKE IT STOP. NOW MY DRIVER SIDE TAIL LIGHT WON'T WORK. I NEEDED MY INSPECTION/REGISTRATION BUT COULDN'T GET IT UNTIL THE LIGHT IS REPAIRED. MY MECHANIC SAID IT'S THE FUSE BOX, SAID IT'S IN HORRIBLE CONDITION. MORE PROBLEMS ARE POSSIBLE. PARTS & LABOR WILL BE NEAR $850. VARIOUS FORUMS ARE INUNDATED WITH SIMILAR COMPLAINTS. A FRIEND OF A CO-WORKER'S TRUCK BURNT TO THE GROUND IN HIS DRIVEWAY (AND SINGED THE HOUSE) BECAUSE THE FUSE BOX DIDN'T TELL THE FUEL PUMP TO SHUT OFF. WITH THAT AND MANY OTHER COMPLAINTS I'VE READ I'M NOW VERY FEARFUL FOR MY SAFETY. DODGE/CHRYSLER NEEDS TO REPLACE THE FUSE BOX IMMEDIATELY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME. *TR
