The contact's mother owns a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal knocking sound coming from the engine. The accelerator pedal was depressed, and the contact stated that the vehicle was wobbling. The contact stated that the wobbling started at 50 MPH. No warning lights were illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that several times the vehicle shut off and needed to be jump-started. The contact stated that the vehicle became undriveable. The vehicle was taken to two separate dealers and was diagnosed with engine failure. The contact was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact's mother received notifications of NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V111000 (Visibility), 24V720000 (Electrical System), and 25V741000 (Electrical System); however, the parts were not yet available for the recall repair.
