The vehicle was taken to a dealer and the contact was informed that the transmission control module needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not under recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and stated that the vehicle was not under recall and provide no further assistance. The failure mileage was 78,175.
