THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED OF A RECALL HOWEVER, NEITHER THE VIN NOR THE YEAR/MAKE/MODEL WERE INCLUDED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA FOR ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,000.
