2022 FORD BRONCO Forward Collision Avoidance Warnings Problems

On June 13, 2025 my 2022 Ford Bronco and was involved in a serious collision in which the airbags did not deploy, the emergency braking and forward collision warning did not activate either. The second vehicle was t-boned at an estimated speed at the point of impact was 45mph. Both vehicles were a total loss. The Bronco suffered a bent frame and the passenger door would not open. The repair estimate was in excess of $36,000. I have reported the concern to Ford Motor Company under case number CXH-04933824-C1C3G9. At the time of the accident, there were no open recalls, warnings or notifications affecting the airbags or other safety systems. The vehicle was as-delivered by Ford from the factory with all regular service conducted by the local Ford dealership.

Claim # CAS CXH-026-40233- PRE- COLLISION ASSIST(PCA) TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN PLEASE FORWARD TO CUSTOMER SERVICES Since they refused email. Randomly the following takes place while vehicle is in motion at various speeds… Hill assist warning followed by (in rapid succession) pre collision assist not available, antilock brake fault Then the brakes momentarily give out then come back in non-powered mode which dangerously locks up the wheels when stopping System then resets itself Bronco6g forums have reported similar issues

Vehicle reported Anti-Brake Fault. Vehicle reported Pre-Collision Fault. Vehicle reported 4 different hill start Assist Failures. I noticed the Pre-Collison feature did not work because the breaks never activated when there was a sudden merge into my lane going 65 miles per hour. The car says that the pre-collision feature is enabled but did not respond to a vehicle that came close to causing a wreck.
