NHTSA Complaint #11614990 — 2022 FORD BRONCO

Claim # CAS CXH-026-40233- PRE- COLLISION ASSIST(PCA) TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN PLEASE FORWARD TO CUSTOMER SERVICES Since they refused email. We have a 2024 In route to RIVERHEAD FORD and refuse to pay their $200 diagnosis fee on PCA failure. Not in OBD III plug in diagnosis no way to check if functioning. Will be reported to NHTSA. MY Broncos 2022 is still in bumper to plumber warrantee but recently with MY key not administrator key noticed the PCA was not functioning. On page 24 Bronco Quick Reference Guide states in pertinent parts: " If your vehicle is rapidly approaching a stationary vehicle, vehicle traveling in the same direction as yours or a pedestrian within your driving path, the system is designed to provide three levels of functionality. Alert; Brake Support & Active Braking" While driving an speaking to a customer service agents I tested behind a Benz at approximate 40 mph and deliberately move my Broncos MY22 less that one car length or so.
